On Grievance-Mongering Identity Politics And Agent Provocateurs

02 June 2020 @ 16:22

Over at The Other McCain, Stacy asks a question of Philadelphia DA Larry Krasner that could [and should] be asked of all elected officials in states where Rioting and Looting have gone on:

Why does this distinction between protesters and looters matter so much to Krasner?….

It is because these officials want to distance themselves from the Rioters, who the people dislike.

Their Toadies in the local and national media parrot these statements so often that it is sickening to watch any newscast these days.

The fact of the matter is: the majority of protesters and looters and their fans in the media are entwined in a Dance Of Destructive Violence.  Those who sincerely want to protest the unlawful death of George Floyd have been infiltrated by Leftists who want to advance the cause of Revolution by, of course, any means necessary.  Part of the problem is that the sincere ones have been baked in Grievance-Mongering Identity Politics for so long that they are unable to spot the Agent Provocateurs until it is too late.  Leftism doe not encourage Sober Thinking.

Other reasons compel the officials, as Stacy points-out:

…Is it not obvious to everyone with two eyes and a brain that the people who organize the “peaceful protests” are doing so with the intent of causing riots? And that the people committing “crimes of opportunity” understand this as well as the political organizers do? Of course, the protest organizers are funded by Soros, the same man who spent nearly $2 million to elect Krasner. Democrats are the party of criminals. Someone should write a book about that.

Oh, wait . . .

And a damn good and appropriate book it is.

Hmm – if that photo is the ‘face’ of liberalism it is even uglier than many of us thought (and that’s pretty ugly).
