The Ballad Of Joe ‘Hill’ Biden

31 August 2019 @ 18:55

I dreamed I saw Joe Hill last night
Alive as you or me
Says I, But Joe, you’re ten years dead
I never died, says he
I never died, says he

The Ballad Of Joe Hill

That appears to be changing.

Over at The Other McCain, Stacy has written a very insightful analysis of Joe ‘Hill’ Biden and the predicament he is in.  A highlight:

The thing that gets me about Joe Biden’s latest spectacular gaffe — where he tried to tell a story about pinning a medal on a war hero and managed to get every fact wrong — is the part where he vouches for the truth of his story by saying, “my word as a Biden,” as if the Biden family name was synonymous with honesty. And everybody’s like, what?

In his conclusion, Stacy remarks:

Even thought Biden continues to lead the Democratic nomination contest by double digits according to the Real Clear Politics average, his front-runner status is unlikely to endure if he continues to be a babbling idiot every time he speaks in public. The very fact that the Washington Post was willing to report on this incident shows that the pro-Democrat media are unwilling to play defense for the front-runner. Now that the Democrat debate field has been narrowed enough that the candidates can debate on a single stage, what happens when Biden finds himself on national TV flanked by Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, with Kamala Harris and Pete Buttigieg also joining the “Get Joe” mob?

I think they’ve been waiting for the right time to do this to Biden.

Joe ‘Hill’ Biden is an interesting member of The Left.  He has straddled the Old Left and the New Left throughout his career.

He has, at times, acted like an old-time back-slapping pol, while pushing the agenda of the Late ’60’s Counter-Culture.  As a Senator, he achieved much success with this strategy.  As a Presidential Candidate, his mega-gaffes and/or timing have doomed him in the past.

In the 2008 Election Season, he could not compete against the New New Left’s Magic Negro — I’m not sure anyone could have.

The only thing that kept him Viable is that Joe ‘Hill’ Biden was chosen by Obama to be his Vice President.  Otherwise, he would have faded from The Political Scene.

The New New Left never really liked him and the Radical Young Left despise him.

As a Human Being, there’s not much to like about this Political Shyster [this is being re-enforced by the new revelations about his Family’s ties with Red China].  So, we’re not going to defend him — Joe’s always treated us with Utter Contempt anyways.

What I see going on here is what I’ve noticed in a more subtle form since, at least, 2008: the New New Left, in an uneasy alliance with the Radical Young Left that will not last, is slowly and quietly ‘taking-out’, whacking politically, as it were, the now Old Timers of the Old Left and New Left.  They’re going after state and local pols, along with DA’s, etc.  It is a Slow Massacre of those not exhibiting enough Radicalism [ie: those suffering from ‘False Consciousness’].  The New New Left and the Radical Young Left are not coordinating their activities: the latter is always ready to shoot at the former.

Joe ‘Hill’ Biden is just the latest, albeit the most well-known, ‘Old Timer’ to get caught in the Crossfire.

Day by day night after night
Blinded by the neon lights
Hurry here, hustlin’ there
No one’s got the time to spare
Money’s tight — nothin’ free
Won’t somebody come and rescue me

I am stranded…
Caught in the crossfire
Caught in the crossfire.
