‘I Can Feel The Fear In The Western World’

03 December 2015 @ 14:32

The party goes on behind elevator doors
While the elevator plummets from the 69th floor
All the cars lost in the scrapyards of paradise
The newspaper photographs have all come alive…

Jihad, aka: Islamic Terrorism, that obligation of every Muslim when called, is the modern version of The Love That Dare Not Speak It’s Name’* — a word that many Americans, most especially in the Media and Politics, refuse to utter when acts of it are blatantly carried-out.

So it is, once again, with the murders in San Bernadino yesterday.

As Mark Steyn wrote:

On Wednesday, 14 Americans were shot dead and another 17 injured at a Christmas party in San Bernadino. The temptation to retreat instantly to one’s tropes is very powerful….

So powerful, in fact, that it was hardly resisted, except by those of us who refuse to ignore the immediate and potent danger Islam poses [and we were immediately, and continue to be, denounced harshly for this unwillingness to deny Reality, that A is A].

That the Left rapidly and rabidly denies that Islam is at War with us is no surprise. They revel in their Dhimmitude and Ignorance and, often, their Fear, as they do in every other area of Life.

The troubling part is that law-abiding citizens have allowed themselves to be embraced by the Fear.

From CBS Los Angeles, we get the words of someone who observed the activities going on at the residence of Syed Farook and his Wife:

A man who has been working in the area said he noticed a half-dozen Middle Eastern men in the area in recent weeks, but decided not to report anything since he did not wish to racially profile those people.

“We sat around lunch thinking, ‘What were they doing around the neighborhood?’” he said. “We’d see them leave where they’re raiding the apartment.”

So much for ‘See Something, Say Something’, eh?

Actually, the Left has always surround that advice with an unspoken second sentence: ‘But don’t you dare say something about any protected groups or we’ll ruin you’.

So, as a result, this American and his lunch companions failed to do their Duty as Guardians of American Freedom and Liberty.

Shame on them.

As for the Mohammedins, so far yesterday’s Terrorist Act in San Berdoo has been all gain and no pain.

Over at The Other McCain, commentator Woman XX remarks [re-paragraphing and punctuation additions mine]:

…They are mocking us. They take our issues and fears and snap them back at us. So while we parse the question of ‘who kills people guns or not’, they are saying it does not matter. Guns here, knives in Kiryat Gat.

They are saying they are here, there, and everywhere and we are over and done.

The illusion of peace or power or that guns kill people is what we are mired in and they are celebrating cheering and passing trays of candy in celebration in every pit stop from Turkish border to whatever is left of Syria [and] free beer in Gaza City.

And the press here thinks the guy went postal because his was dissed at the company party. He was just waiting till he had a chance to do it. And my bet is they have other trained people here waiting to the same thing. And they all know it and they are watching us have are dumb American argument about guns.

This could be the start of a gun version of the Israel knife terrorism and take the guns out of the equation there are still knives or explosives or acid. Call me crazy but that’s what I think.

I have a relative a close one who was a commando in the IDF he called us and asked if we had a gun.

“Me a gun are you nuts? I hate guns” —John Lennon’s Imagine playing in my head.

He told me to buy 2, or move to Israel because it maybe safer. I wonder if he is right….

Yup. And, by the way: I don’t think you’re crazy at all — far from it.

A nation that cowers in Fear of it’s Enemies is a nation with a Death Wish.

Ayaan Hirsi Ali [and Evi] is dead solid perfect:

America, we hardly knew ye.

Dead in the streets — whose that girl?
Ireland screams, Africa burns
Suburbia stumbles
The tides are turned
I can feel the fear in the Western world
I can feel the fear in the Western world
I can feel the fear in the Western world
I can feel the fear in the Western…The Western world…

many wags have described it: ‘The Love That Will
Not Shut-Up’.

Not all of us are fearful, some are pissed off enough to actually take matters into their own hands. Dope it out.

“A nation that cowers in Fear of it’s Enemies is a nation with a Death Wish.”

No that’s a nation that is already dead. It may wriggle a bit, but it’s dead.
