#OUTLAW Activity: People In Roseburg Rebel

06 October 2015 @ 14:07

From Breitbart, Lee Stranahan reporting, we learn [worth quoting in full]:

David Jaques, the publisher of the conservative newspaper the Roseburg Beacon, says he believes that President Obama would not be welcome to the town after making remarks politicizing the shooting that left nine dead and nine injured at Umpqua Community College on October 1. Jaques told Breitbart News that he believes officials of Douglas County would also not welcome the President using the tragedy to score political points for a gun control agenda.

Any visit by President would be “a campaign stop for agenda to take away American citizen’s right to own firearms” said Jaques in an exclusive interview.

Jaques said the region is proud of Sheriff John Hanlin, who he said “put the administration on notice that if you pass any laws, edicts or executive actions that are either unconstitutional or extra-constitutional, they will not be enforced in Douglas County.” Hanlin has been savaged by the liberal national press after his letter to Vice President Joe Biden opposing gun control came to light.

Let us hope that the good people of Roseburg resist with everything they’ve got, with every fiber of their grieving hearts, the efforts of the Tyrant-In-Chief to exploit their sorrow and their pain.

If small rebellions like these start occurring in greater numbers all across the country, they will add-up to an effective push-back against the Despots who seek to Enslave us. They will spur formerly silent Souls to action in the defense of Freedom and Ordered Liberty.

We must rouse again that Spirit among Americans that was given life starting with the Stamp Act in 1765 and which slowly grew until our Ancestors achieved their Independence from the Tyrants who were attempting to deprive them of their God-Given Rights, Rights which we are now charged with preserving protecting, and defending.

And if a minister shall usurp the supreme and absolute government of America, and set up his instructions as laws in the colonies, and their Governors shall be so weak or so wicked, as for the sake of keeping their places, to be made the instruments in putting them in execution, who will presume to say that the people have not a right, or that it is not their indispensible duty to God and their Country, by all rational means in their power to RESIST THEM.

“Be firm, my friends, nor let UNMANLY SLOTH
Twine round your hearts indissoluble chains.
Ne’er yet by force was freedom overcome.
Unless CORRUPTION first dejects the pride,
And guardian vigour of the free-born soul,
All crude attempts of violence are vain.
Determined, hold
Your INDEPENDENCE; for, that once destroy’d,
Unfounded Freedom is a morning dream.”

—Samuel Adams, writing as ‘CANDIDUS, 14 October 1771

Proud am I of my brothers and sisters that stand in defiance of the fine haired
SOB’s from DC that come to promote their liberal agenda and the weakening of our Constitution.
Once again small town folks prove to not only be the salt of the earth but true American patriots as well. We’ll done folks.

I would like all those liberals – like Hillary and Obama – to start leading by example. They need to get rid of all their security details with guns. After all – why is it ok for them and not for the citizens.
The 2nd amendment is meant for citizens to protect themselves from a tyrannical government – such as we have now.
Obama and Hillary need to leave their home without armed guards and then maybe – we can have a conversation.
In the meantime leave americans and their right to bear arms alone; find some other things to do.
Its all about control for them – an unarmed citizenry is easier to control!

Runyan’s words were a direct call to patriots in the Pacific NW to stand with citizens in Roseburg who have already made it clear that Obama is not welcome there for his planned visit on Friday.

Bob sez: “If small rebellions like these start occurring in greater numbers all across the country, they will add-up to an effective push-back against the Despots who seek to Enslave us. They will spur formerly silent Souls to action in the defense of Freedom and Ordered Liberty.”

100%, hits the nail on the head.

As a Christian, I know that God has no expectation, that I, DeadMessenger, am going to bring the Gospel to every person and save the world. His expectation is that I act within the boundaries of my immediate vicinity, which is my mission field. God knows that this is powerful, because it’s *personal*.

Likewise, Roseburg. Personalizing their rebellion, bringing their friends and neighbors onboard, mobilizing their community one person, or a few people, at a time, is immensely powerful, especially multiplied by a factor of tens or hundreds of thousands of smaller communities all over the country.

Think of it as *beneficial* community organizing, turning Barry’s approach against him for a change. 😀

Exactly…and the analogy is dead solid perfect.

Perhaps that’s why Samuel Adams, a devout man, used this method.
