The Lost Republic Diaries – Part XX: A ‘Fluid Spectrum Of Sexuality’

16 May 2015 @ 18:01

Another entry in a Diary that chronicles the End Days of The American Republic. Another example of why The Republic is terminal and why we must work to save what we can however we can…

From Todd Starnes, we learn [tip of the fedora to Nurse Patriot]:

One of the nation’s largest public school systems is preparing to include gender identity to its classroom curriculum, including lessons on sexual fluidity and spectrum – the idea that there’s no such thing as 100 percent boys or 100 percent girls.

Fairfax County Public Schools released a report recommending changes to their family life curriculum for grades 7 through 12. The changes, which critics call radical gender ideology, will be formally introduced next week.

The plan calls for teaching seventh graders about transgenderism and tenth graders about the concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum — but it sure smells like unadulterated sex indoctrination.

Get a load of what the kids are going to be learning in middle school:

“Students will be provided definitions for sexual orientation terms heterosexuality, homosexuality and bisexuality; and the gender identity term transgender,” the district’s recommendations state. “Emphasis will be placed on recognizing that everyone is experiencing changes and the role of respectful, inclusive language in promoting an environment free of bias and discrimination.”

Eighth graders will be taught that individual identity “occurs over a lifetime and includes the component of sexual orientation and gender identity.”

“Individual identity will also be described as having four parts – biological gender, gender identity (includes transgender), gender role, and sexual orientation (includes heterosexual, bisexual, and homosexual).”

The district will also introduce young teenagers to the “concept that sexuality is a broader spectrum.” By tenth grade, they will be taught that one’s sexuality “develops throughout a lifetime.”

“Emphasis will be placed on an understanding that there is a broader, boundless, and fluid spectrum of sexuality that is developed throughout a lifetime,” the document states. “Sexual orientation and gender identity terms will be discussed with focus on appreciation for individual differences.”

“Parents need to protect their kids from this assault,” said Andrea Lafferty, president of Traditional Values Coalition. “Who could imagine that we are in this place today – but we are.” [BOB: I’m not surprised and I would easily bet that you’re not either.]

Last week, the school board voted to include gender identity in the district’s nondiscrimination policy – a decision that was strongly opposed by parents.

Lafferty, who led the opposition to the nondiscrimination policy, warned that the district is moving towards the deconstruction of gender.

The Left In America is moving very rapidly towards the goal of deconstructing everything in this country.

I have no doubt that the Parents who fight this Perverse measure will be demonized and subjected to vile calumnies, so, I say to them: Welcome to the Outlaw Life.

We have the freedom now to act to preserve The Founding; we are at Liberty to to operate in what has become the Enemy’s territory. We can gather together and Restore the Precious Gift of The Founding Fathers in territory we achieve control of. We are the Outlaws and we should act accordingly.

We will see some very cruel times, but we have a Duty to our Posterity to preserve the Gift wherever and however we can. We have a duty to those that came before us and sacrificed for us to pay any price and bear any burden to see that Freedom and Ordered Liberty survive in some form. If we do not at least try, we shall be damned before all of Mankind as those cowards who did not attempt to preserve the last, best hope for man on God’s Earth.

We must Join Or Die.

No scientific research to back up their claims. It’s just crazy notions postulated by damaged people.

The only thing close to a scientific basis for gender fluidity is that psychologists USED to work to cure people like Bruce Jenner, but then they quit.

Hey, psychologists, giving up on a cure is not the same as discovering that something isn’t a sickness.

I listen to people bemoan the state of public education, and I try to tell them it is impossible to fight the decay from within the system. Modern public educators are taught how to marginalize and demonize those parents who dissent. Modern public education administrators are taught how to circumvent school boards. Teachers’ unions–populated and run by Leftists–recruit people to run for school boards to freeze out those they deem to conservative.

The only way to fight is to leave the system while you can and pray your children can obtain an education outside the system while it’s still allowed.

(BTW, the next avenue of attack will be by colleges and universities which discriminate against home-schooled and parochially-schooled children. That is, they don’t have to make such alternatives illegal. Rather, they simply have to eliminate opportunities for such children.)

      Damn well put.

When thy hand offends thee, cut it off…or go out and form your own schools and colleges.

Parochial primary and secondary education is in the sights of the Left and has been for many years. The reasons are legion, of course, but it all boils down to eliminating parental control in favor the state’s. Here’s where I think this is headed ultimately:

        1. Common Core will become an entrance requirement for public tertiary education, either because it will be asserted that it is “superior” to traditional curricula or that traditional curricula provide an “unfair advantage.” (In my state’s premier, selective liberal arts university, the number of students who graduated from parochial high schools far exceeds their percentage of the high school graduate population. Of the 20 full scholarships awarded every year to entering freshmen, over half go to parochial graduates.)

        2. Additional taxes will be levied against the families of parochial and home students. The rationale is that their absence from the public system a) deprives the public system of “diversity” and b) deprives the public system of state money which is based upon the number of butts in seats. While I pay local property taxes to my local school district, it does not get an equivalent amount from the state because my son attends a parochial high school.

        3. Parochial primary and secondary schools as well as new, uninfected colleges and universities will face difficulties obtaining accreditation. Accreditation will be used to bar graduates from nonsectarian colleges or from professional careers in many areas.

        4. “Diversity” and “Grievance” courses will become high school graduation/college admission requirements and the teaching of same will necessitate by regulation the hiring of “certified” teachers and counselors, who will, of course, be barely-disguised Quislings.

The bottom line is that the state does not have to ban home schooling or parochial schooling. It merely needs to make it substantially more expensive, of diluted quality and subverted morality to drive it to extinction.

Oh, sorry for the long comment above.

The same people who told us you can’t change your orientation, because it’s something you’re born with, are now telling us that you CAN change your gender, even though you were born with it. Is it just me, or has the world gone stark raving mad?

      It’s Doublethink!…

*Doublethink* is the act of ordinary people simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in distinct social contexts .[1] Doublethink is related to, but differs from, hypocrisy and neutrality . Somewhat related but almost the opposite is cognitive dissonance , where contradictory beliefs cause conflict in one’s mind. Doublethink is notable due to a lack of cognitive dissonance — thus the person is completely unaware of any conflict or contradiction.
