The Sexualization Of The Innocents Continues

Am I the only one that is disturbed by this?…

From USA Today, Lori Grisham reporting, we learn [tip of the fedora to Drudge]:

Actress Jamie Brewer, best known for her roles on American Horror Story, appeared Thursday on a catwalk during New York Fashion Week.

Brewer was the first model in the show with Down syndrome.

Brewer wore clothing by designer Carrie Hammer as part of Hammer’s "Role Models Not Runway Models" show, a project that invites inspiring women to showcase Hammer’s work.

Brewer played a witch on American Horror Story so Hammer put her in black with an A-line cut. "Jamie has this beautiful figure with a small waist. A-lines really compliment that," Hammer said about the design.

A catwalk is a sensual event, a semi-erotic show, where new fashions are presented in a sexualized setting, all the more to make them appealing to buyers for clothing stores, the public, and potential-customer-celebrities.

Miss Brewer’s ‘beautiful figure’ aside: she suffers from mental retardation and such people have to be managed by guardians because there are many decisions they do not have the capacity to make.

This decision to feature this, by all accounts, gentle, lovely, and feisty soul, in a fashion show has swarming about it the strong odor of Exploitation by an industry that is run, primarily, by shrews and women-hating Homosexuals.

This decision also reeks mightily of the effort by the Left to Sexualize the most innocent members of Western Society, such as teenagers, children, and the elderly [Ex: Simone de Beauvoir]

As for children, they too are erotic beings, closer to androgyny than the adults who oppress them. Children are fully capable of participating in community, and have every right to live out their own erotic impulses. In androgynous community, those impulses would retain a high degree of nonspecificity and would no doubt show the rest of us the way into sexual self-realization. The distinctions between “children” and “adults,” and the social institutions which enforce those distinctions, would disappear as androgynous community develops.

Could This Be One Explanation?

The only thing I know where these people are concerned is that a reckoning in the form of war is the answer.
