Obama’s Mid-East Descent Into Chaos And Radicalism Unimaginable Under McCain/Palin Admin.

Seemingly out of nowhere, or at least without any indication it would happen from the Obama administration and the intelligence agencies, the Caliphate is being recreated.
One day nobody had heard of ISIS and, seemingly the next, that radical Islamic group had control of wide swathes of territory and was in the oil export business. To allow this to happen under his watch is one of the worst failures of the Obama administration in foreign policy and no matter what his domestic “legacy” is declared by the media to be there is no escaping this singular disaster.
Actually it is a multiple disaster. The whole former Caliphate/Middle Eastern Muslim world is in chaos. Deaths go on unabated in Iraq, there is no new government in Afghanistan, a coup in YemenLibya is a group of war lord mini-states. Syria is a bloodbath, The Golan is near flash-point the refugee situation  2.4 million Syrians alone,is the shame of the world.
Further afield there were terrorist attacks in Australia and France and who knows where or when the next outrage will take place whilst Islamic terrorist wreak havoc on a terrible scale in Nigeria.
Instead of any sign of progress things just get worse. Now the Egyptians, whose country reaped the first rewards of Obama’s Muslim Spring” initiative with not one but two revolutions now have exchanged their original enemy, Israel, for a homegrown one whose propensity for carnage, for as long as it takes to gain there objectives, makes the Israeli conflict seem like a simple war game.

Islamic State’s Egypt wing claimed responsibility for a series of attacks that killed at least 27 on Thursday in some of the worst anti-state violence in months, after commemorations around the anniversary of the 2011 uprising turned deadly this week.

Egypt’s government faces an Islamist insurgency based in Sinai and growing discontent with what critics perceive as heavy handed security tactics.

A series of tweets from the Sinai Province’s Twitter account claimed responsibility for each of the four attacks that took place in North Sinai and Suez provinces within hours of one another on Thursday night.

Ansar Bayt al-Maqdis, Egypt’s most active militant group, changed its name to Sinai Province last year after swearing allegiance to Islamic State, the hardline Sunni militant group that has seized swathes of Iraq and Syria, drawing U.S.-led airstrikes.

It is irrefutable, I believe, that most , if not all, of these utter disasters, for that is what they are, would not be happening if the medal had not crowned then Senator Obama as the planet healer in 2008. John McCain made it very clear that the United States would stay the course, with troops and bombs, for as long as it took to win the war to the death, for that is what it is, with radical Islam.
The inter-community violence in Iraq would not be happening to any near extend that it has been with thousands of deaths and maiming. Syria would have been dealt with peremptorily and finally, there would be no “Islamic State in Iraq or Egypt because the militants would also have been dealt with peremptorily. The idea of a “Renewed Caliphate” would have been a ridiculous notion instead of the fact it is now.

Not all the blame lies with the incompetence of the Obama administration.administration. Equal shares must go the the leftist media, the “JounOlist” conspiracy headed by the likes of Ezra Klein, who placed a man with no foreign affairs experience in such a position of power over someone who had a lifetime of such experience.

McCain had a clear vision and plan-keep the gains of the surge, as Governor Palin clearly set out in her convention address, and prevent any radical groups from gaining a foothold through the use of American power.

The terrible irony, if a tragedy can be called ironic, is that a number of these media radical leftist Obama promoters are Jews and it may well be the Jewish state that has to bear the final burden, not only for the Caliphate dedicated to Israel’s destruction but from a Nuclear bomb capable Iran.
If that happens, a nuclear weapon capable Iran, then Obama would bear 100% of the blame as he has had enough time to gain experience and break away from the “progressives” whop put him in power. That he might have to shoulder this blame will be little comfort to the Jews if they experience a second Holocaust.
There is still time to save the situation, but time is running out. If some sort of line can be held against the radicals for the next two years a conservative administration, ideally led by Palin, the new Thatcher, or someone with her strength and clear-sighted vision of what needs to be done can be elected.
If on the other hand a “third Obama term” ensues, then the current wind that is being sown will see the whirlwind be reaped. God help us all.

I doubt very much that McCain’s administration would have been that much different domestically. We’d still be humoring climate change instead of medicating it. We’d still have passed a pointless stimulus, only somewhat smaller and with a little more emphasis on tax cuts. After compromising with Reid and Pelosi we’d have some version of the ACA, we’d still have pushes for ”reasonable” 2a infringement after every incident and maybe even some new legislation. The gang of eight of eight bill would be law. The fourth branch would still be infested with Bolsheviks and our foreign and military policy establishment still infested with the Muslim Brotherhood, which brings us to foreign affairs.

We’d be occupying Libya trying to ”nation build” one version radical islam at the expense of another. Same thing in Syria. I see no evidence that McCain doesn’t believe in the religion of peace nonsense. He might have made the right decision on Iran in 2009 if his Sec. of State Lindsey Graham was somehow also persuaded. McCain would be pursuing some version of the fools errand plan for lasting Mideast peace. He might have gotten the relationship with Russia correct.

The only way our world, here or abroad, would be substantially better after McCain’s election would be if the anti-Palinites worst fears were realized and she poisoned him shortly after the inauguration. It wouldn’t matter that he died of natural causes, that’s not how it would read in the history books.
