Depends On What The Meaning Of ‘Military Family’ Is

18 October 2014 @ 02:36

It turns out Joe ‘White Boy’ Biden’s son, Hunter, was kicked out of the Naval Reserves for cocaine use.

Smitty [USN retired] has the details and some well-deserved contempt here.

Commentator TheOldSargeSays sums-up this despicable family quite well:

From WSJ article on this matter…

“The vice president and his wife, Jill Biden, speak regularly about the pride they take in being a military family, often referring to son Beau Biden’s time in the Delaware Army National Guard….”

> Joe received five draft deferments during the Viet Nam War.

> Son Beau was in the Delaware National Guard as a lawyer and got to take a break from his unit’s deployment to Iraq to attend the Presidential Inauguration.

> Son Hunter is kicked out of the Navy after seven months for cocaine use
THIS is ” being a military family “?

The whole Biden family should be shunned.

I’ll bet the Bidens had nothing but contempt for a certain Texas Air National Guard fighter pilot.

…whose father was a Navy fighter pilot in WW2, one of the youngest. They have more of a claim to being a military family than the Bidens.

    Purposefully trying for status.

    That’s all this is.

I’d say it’s pathetic, but then we’ve passed pathetic a long time ago.

However, joining the Guard and Reserve for political gain, most notably Major General Benjamin “Beast” Butler of the Civil War. His service in the Massachusetts Militia was heavily linked to his political career in the Democratic Party.

Should be, “However, joining the Guard and Reserve for political gain has a long history,”

Biden isn’t half the VP that Dan Quayle was. What exactly does he bring to this administration?
