Lie Back And Think Of Utopia

Alternative Title:

Bend Over And Dream Of Unicorns

From CBS Washington, we learn [tip of the fedora to Darleen Click]:

Wisconsin’s tense race for governor got some political star power Monday, with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie urging Republicans to step up their support for a potential presidential rival, Scott Walker. First lady Michelle Obama, meanwhile, campaigned for former state commerce secretary Mary Burke.

Meg Kissinger, a reporter for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, posted on Facebook that she was told by a White House aide that she was not allowed to talk to people in the crowd.

“[A]ssigned to cover Michelle Obama’s speech today and was told by a Mary Burke aide and one for the White House that I could not speak to the people in the crowd. To say that I was creeped out is an understatement. This is what reporters do in America: we speak to people,” Kissinger posted. “At least that’s how I’ve been doing things — at all kinds of political events — since 1979.”

Kissinger wrote that reporters and photographers were cordoned off during the event.

“Reporters and photographers were cordoned off in a central area with chairs and tables…,” Kissinger reported.

According to Darleen, none of the reporters disobeyed.

This is, of course, not surprising at all.

The Leftist Media are so invested in bringing about the Fundamental Transformation of America [ie: Heaven On Earth, Utopia, Immanentizing The Eschaton] that, despite being treated like battered wives, they still stay with their ‘man’, defending him and his ‘buddies’, letting themselves humiliatingly be misused and abused over and over again.

It is sick.

It is, most of all, pathetic.

It is something we’ve witnessed in History many times before. The denouement for them will not be pretty.

For now, they’ll enjoy being part of the ‘cool kids’ crowd, invited to be in the presence of the Power And Control Elites, but they’ll be discarded like the cheap whores they are when they no longer serve any use. And that is, if they’re lucky. Every Revolution finds a reason to put such pathetic lackeys up against a wall or at the edge of a mass grave.

Enjoy yourselves, suckers: it’s later than you think.

Did they have guards posted at the perimeter of the enclosed area (I’m assuming this was indoors)? I think this says even more about the Democrats than about reporters. Half of the mojo in Obama’s presidential campaigns was the interviewing of the swooning crowds. Did they report on what Mooch said? Do they have that much trepidation about the feed back from a crowd at their own campaign event? Was this campaign event for convicts, held in a prison?

Philosophically, aren’t we all in a prison these days?

You may have noticed in the wake of Holder’s resignation that one of his “successes” has been in reducing the federal prison population by ten thousand. Makes on wonder what happens to all those empty cells just waiting for an inmate. Clockwork Orange?
