Capitulation: Yes Retreat, Baby, Yes Surrender

16 June 2014 @ 11:17

In a few paragraphs Richard Fernandez explains why The Fall Of Iraq will have grave consequences [tip of the fedora to Newrouter]:

As noted in earlier posts, the fall of swathes of Iraq to al-Qaeda dominated Sunni state is prelude to a wider threat that cannot be long in coming. Nothing, not even the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the Gulf states will be out of reach. Although the threats are not immediate, the dynamics of the Sunni-Shi’a conflict in Syria have dramatically expanded the theater of operations.
It is no longer possible to regard the sectarian conflict as confined to a narrow strip of Levantine coast. With al-Qaeda’s eastward drive and the prospect of unrest spreading down into the Gulf via the Shi’a arc and Iran’s possible entry into the conflict, the battlefield has become immensely bigger. At stake is the single largest agglomeration of petroleum reserves on the planet. The potential for human disaster is Biblical as well. The Gulf and the Arabian peninsula guest millions of expatriate workers, Westerners, Asians, Africans. Their safety, along with the countries which host them, were implicitly dependent on the United States.

While earlier generations of policy makers might confidently have said that the United States would defend Kuwait … or Bahrain … or Qatar … or Oman … or Saudi Arabia, with Obama it is impossible to say with any certainty that he will defend anything. The United States, and in consequence the West, has suffered a catastrophic collapse of credibility.

Any line that can by hypothetically drawn is at best a wild-ass-guess. For only one person can draw any line of consequence: Barack Hussein Obama. We are witnessing not only a collapse but a capitulation.

Of course, as far as the Jarrett Junto is concerned, all is going according to plan.

What makes this whole situation more frightening is that the Left In America has no clue — none whatsoever — that, in the long run, the consequences of their capitulation here will end up coming back to bite them in their sorry, red, ignorant arses.

Meanwhile, Christians and Jews and other Westerners will die in horrific circumstances — frankly, I don’t care if any Mohammedins die [yeah, I said it] because this is their ‘Religion Of Peace’ just carrying out ‘Allah’s’ orders — and the likelihood of a another attack on American Soil will increase dramatically [unless the forces of the Stealth Jihad can control their brothers-in-conquering].

SIDENOTE: I don’t know how we fight to restore our National Security effectively and successfully wage war against the Left In America’s Despotism. One, it seems to me, will end-up being sacrificed to the other — and we know which one that will be, don’t we.

If you’re the praying kind, then do it — a lot of it.

My understanding is that ISIS is funded by a top Saud, meaning, the family generally. Perhaps I am misinformed. But if that is correct, it explains the reported break between AQ and ISIS. AQ is anti-Saud, as are Moslem Brotherhood/Hamas, Iran and, of course, Jarrett. Jarrett is crickets on AQ but loud on ISIS. Because ISIS is Saud. Such is my understanding.

In recent headlines, SoS Kerry is saying that drone flights/attacks into Iraq are a possible solution.

The only way those would work is if they carried tactical nukes.
