Bob’s Musings: I Have Questions…

Bob's Muse

Bob’s Muse

Considering the tends we’ve seen lately, with more and more Leftists In America seeking to get we lovers of Freedom and Liberty to STFU, several questions have arisen in my mind…

How long before we are banned from blogging? Or forced to comply with so many regulations that it’s impossible?

I take heart in the historical truths that Palaeomerus cites, over at Protein Wisdom

[Jeff Goldstein on Google] >They own the world.<

So did the phone company, Detroit, and IBM, till people went around them.

…but I’m still very worried.

How can we keep the lines of communication open between us, create Committees Of Correspondence for The Age Of Leftist Hegemony? It is vital that we do since we’re so scattered around the Country.

We need to discover the Spirit Of Sam Adams that lurks in all of us who are Americans.

Sam-Adams-Ext-p10The liberties of our Country, the freedom of our civil constitution are worth defending at all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. We have received them as a fair Inheritance from our worthy Ancestors: They purchased them for us with toil and danger and expense of treasure and blood; and transmitted them to us with care and diligence. It will bring an everlasting mark of infamy on the present generation, enlightened as it is, if we should suffer them to be wrested from us by violence without a struggle; or be cheated out of them by the artifices of false and designing men. Of the latter we are in most danger at present: Let us therefore be aware of it. Let us contemplate our forefathers and posterity; and resolve to maintain the rights bequeathed to us from the former, for the sake of the latter. — Instead of sitting down satisfied with the efforts we have already made, which is the wish of our enemies, the necessity of the times, more than ever, calls for our utmost circumspection, deliberation, fortitude, and perseverance. Let us remember that “if we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom.” It is a very serious consideration, which should deeply impress our minds, that millions yet unborn may be the miserable sharers of the event.

—Samuel Adams, written under the pseudonym ‘Candidus’,
in The Boston Gazette on 14 October 1771

And we must combine that Spirit with the Spirit of another great Patriot:

'Fuck You: War!'

‘Fuck You: War!’

One must admit that there is some upside to the lefts constant yammering particularly their attempts to silence and in some cases destroy conservatives and even those who aren’t really that conservative. With every left wing rant with every effort to destroy some ones livelihood they make an increasingly effective moral argument for rightwing death squads.
