Message To Sarah Palin

13 April 2014 @ 20:07

Over at Breitbart, Tony Lee reports on Sarah Palin’s appearance on Saturday’s Fox News show Cashin’ In [tip of the fedora to Smitty][this is worth quoting in full* and emphasis mine]:

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin blasted President Barack Obama on Saturday for either not understanding or deliberately disrespecting the Constitution.

“We have a president who doesn’t understand or just chooses to disrespect our Constitution,” Palin said on Fox News’ Cashin In with host Eric Bolling.

Obama has unilaterally changed immigration, health care, and welfare laws, among others, according to Palin, and she said that he has sent a message with his actions that an elite crew will run the government as they see fit instead of “We the People.”

She also said there needs to be “new energy” in government instead of more blue bloods and when asked about her comments suggesting that Hillary Clinton run, Palin emphasized that she never said it would be a good thing if Hillary won.

When asked what Americans could do to ensure the Constitution is not assaulted, Palin said they should elect people who “promise to pay whatever price it is going to take to protect our Constitution” at the national level and support candidates who are not afraid to call for a convention of the states, if necessary, to be a check on an overreaching federal government.

Needless to say, I agree wholeheartedly with Mrs. Palin.

Message To Sarah Palin:

If you pledge to ‘pay whatever price it is going to take to protect our Constitution’ then it is your duty to run for the Presidency in 2016 because you are the best possible candidate.

You ‘get it’ the most out of all nationally prominent conservatives.

You have executive experience.

You are possessed of Common Sense.

You can articulate conservative beliefs better than anyone else in possible contention.

You are possessed of the same strength of character as Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and Winston Churchill.

Don’t do as you did in 2011/2012 and refuse to pledge your life, your fortune, and your Sacred Honor in our cause.  While your reasons were understandable, the time has come for all True Americans to be willing to sacrifice all in the cause of restoring our Freedoms and Liberties.

If people like yourself do not do the right thing now, there will be much blood shed later.

Do your Duty, dammit.

Your Humble and Obedient Servant…
Robert Belvedere

Sarah’s not the only one. Scott Walker has endured and won his stripes and continues to be successful. Not a slam against Sarah, just an observation of outcomes.

*Auto-play has effectively taken Breitbart off my radar for over a year now.

Walker hasnt ben thru nor has the record to match hers, no slam on Scott its just the way it is…

It’s an opinion I’m not opposed to considering. I’d love to have Sarah if I thought today’s culture would support her. Her vulnerabilities are a perception well-ingrained, even if merely imagined.

I’ve got to question Mrs. Palin’s judgement with respect to MN US Senate Candidates. She’s supporting Julianne Ortman (State Senate, R-Carver County), is a bit hypocritical about 2nd Amendment rights. She does not like having armed individuals in her presence, even going to the point of firing an intern who had concealed carry permit and was armed.

Mrs. Palin’s got good instincts, but I’m not sure about where they lead her.

Shes not going to announce her stradegey…why should she… ? despite all She will be our next President,.. Our Choice, not theirs/… !

I heartily agree with you, Robert Belvedere, about Governor Sarah Palin’s credentials, her executive experience, her ability to articulate common sense…conservative principles, her strength of character and likeness in comparison to Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher, and the evident fact that she ‘gets it!’ But…while I appreciate your evident trust and respect and ‘verbal’ support of Governor Palin, I think your final paragraphs were too harsh. What more could she have done in 2012…she was ‘shut out’ by the GOPe. Were you following what was happening at the RNC 2012? Following that debacle, Governor Palin did not do what so many of her ‘supporters’ have done….’fade away into the sunset!’ She is a ‘Constitutional Conservative Powerhouse’ and she continues to drive liberals crazy.

BTW…sir…have you signed our ‘Petition in Support of Sarah Palin for President in 2016 – If you did, thank you…if you have not….please do!

Strongest possible concur! And duty is the right word. Exactly what it is. Just as every lawyer’s duty now is to barrage the criminal organization with RICO suits, civil and criminal. Come on, boys and girls, do hour duty. Taxpayers and benefactors did not/do not support you for your own pleasure merely.

Gov Sarah Palin has had Obama’s measure since before he was elected in 2008; she knew his weak equivocating over the Russian invasion of Georgia back in 08 could encourage Putin to waltz into Crimea in the future, should he be elected ,…… boy, was she RIGHT

and that’s not the only instance which has found Sarah Palin prescient wrt Obama’s decision-making ..

right on Obama tying gun-grabbing to his Obamacare BULLSCHMIDT Bill

    ~> she’s ALWAYS correct!

Sarah Palin has displayed sound judgement, CORRECTLY predicting the consequences of decisions taken, especially by Obama .. over and over again …

Who else in leadership has demonstrated such remarkable accuracy in this realm?

    Answer: – NOBODY

America desperately needs a Commander-in-Chief with DEMONSTRABLE sound judgement …
