Message From America’s CEM

06 April 2014 @ 00:57

As you probably heard this past week, Virginia Democratic Representative Jim Moron, er, Moran said the following:

I think the American people should know that the members of Congress are underpaid. I understand that it’s widely felt that they under perform, but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world.

Most commentators have focused on the first and second parts of his statement, but the most troubling part is the third and last part: ‘…but the fact is that this is the board of directors for the largest economic entity in the world’.

LiveFreeOrDieNo, you dickheaded simpleton, the members of the Congress are not the overseers of the Economy.

In fact, except for the few restricted areas where you are allowed to meddle, you are supposed to keep your filthy and corrupt hands off of the Economy.

Unfortunately, this attitude is the attitude of most Americans because they have been thoroughly infected with the virulent cancer known as Leftist Thinking.

Until we kill that disease, any reforms we make will not be long-lasting.

NOTE: ‘CEM’ stands for ‘Chief Executive Moron’.

If congresscritters, especially Democrats who have been in office since the Cretaceous, are a board of directors, then almost every single one of them should be thrown in prison after an extensive and probing SEC investigation. Especially the crop that voted for ObamaCare.

I once had a woman who was running for county board try to convince me to vote for her because she believed that government should be “run like a business”. If I didn’t know that she was just bullshitting me I might have bothered to explain to her that an institution which forces me to pay for products and services which I didn’t ask for and don’t want can never be “run like a business”, though it is a nice conservative-sounding talking point.

Big Jim Moron and his ilk are the embodiment of exactly how government is not at all like a business.
