On St. Paul [UPDATED]

29 March 2014 @ 19:09

In his Epistle To The Romans, Saint Paul wrote this description [tip of the fedora to Stacy McCain]:

Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Without understanding, covenant-breakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful.

Romans, 1:29-31

I can summarize the above with one word: Ideologues.

Ideology is the enemy of the Good because it values ideas over Human Beings.  It seeks to remold, re-engineer, Mankind into an image of a system of ideas.  Ideology, by it’s nature, is Anti-Human.

The Reverend David Graham published a post, Human Values, Not Human Rights, over at his site that is related to the above.  Please do check it out.
