Bob’s Influences Exposed…

29 August 2013 @ 20:44

Many regular readers of these Dispatches know who my philosophical, religious, and political influences are, but few of you all have ever been exposed to those people who have made me one of the most likeable and admired denizens of La Cosa Rightosphere.

While I cannot list them all, I can provide snippets of the biggest ones.

As you will see below the fold, elements of these gentlemen are definitely part of the Bob Belvedere you know, love [‘love deeply’ if you’re one of my legion of gal fans], and, for the guys, wish you were like.

In no particular order…

And, of course…

I’ve been meaning to look for the “Reading Rainbow”/”Star Trek: TNG” crossover episode to sum up my TV watching life before the age of five.

Ahhh, television back when it was safe for kids to watch and the stories had a moral ending to the story…good always triumphs over evil.

These are grand to remember !

Truly a man of culture! Which is why I admire you and want to be more like you.

    But..But…where’s Paladin and Peter Gunn?

Before my time and not in reruns when I was a yuut. I was finally able to start watching Peter Gunn a few years ago on MeTV – by then, of course, my character was formed and graying.

,i>Jonny Quest–the original, not the hash that came 20 years later. Oh, for the good old days when it was OK for kids to see bad guys getting whacked.

I’m sure you didn’t leave this gent off the list deliberately, Bob.

I can see a youtube window on my screen…

Sorry. It does appear when you look up the post itself, but not when I’m on the Dashboard in the Comments Section.

Damn Word Press. This is not the only thing that has gone wacky-sacky lately with them. They make changes and something usually breaks.

I’d happily annihilate the Notifications icon. It’s like the annoying kid who can’t shut up.
