From the Heartland, Glenn Reynolds cross-examines the Homeland folks:

NOT PAYING ATTENTION: Saudi Arabia ‘warned the United States IN WRITING about Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2012.’ “The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia sent a written warning about accused Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in 2012, long before pressure-cooker blasts killed three and injured hundreds, according to a senior Saudi government official with direct knowledge of the document. The Saudi warning, the official told MailOnline, was separate from the multiple red flags raised by Russian intelligence in 2011, and was based on human intelligence developed independently in Yemen.”

So we were warned about him by both the Russians and the Saudis and still did nothing? What exactly are all those hundreds of billions for Homeland Security going for?

Possible answers, if I may be so bold…

-Military-grade weapons for police departments

-Big kick-arse military vehicles for police departments

-Military uniforms

-Black paint

-Black helicopters

-Military training for civilian police departments

-Muslim sensitivity training

-Posters!

-Brand-spanking-new police headquarters

-Spiffy black jackets for politicians and department heads to wear during incidents

-Bitchin’ electronic gear and stuff

Homeland Security is wicked pissah, eh?

This story smells, and not pleasantly.

    From the MailOnline story:

“‘The Saudi Arabian government is doing everything it can to wipe out these people and treat America as a true friend,’ the official said.”

The Saudi Arabian government is bankrolling these people and doing everything it can to install sharia law in place of the US Constitution.

So why would they put out this story?

A guess: they dislike the punk in the White House, and since he’s being dumped on from several directions simultaneously, they decided to pile on, perhaps really because the punk’s actions in ME are driving “these people” – AQ – too close to Saud for Saud comfort.

Saud wants no competitors in Arabia but loves to fund “these people” in territories Saud would like to go Salafist/Wahhabist. Wahhab founded the modern Saudi clerical bench, the Salafist Puritanism, characteristic also of “Moslem Brotherhood” and its creations, to include AQ, Hamas.

There is another possible reason for this story. There is a movement across the ME to overcome the power of the clerical benches, to deposit power solely in secular – meaning, there, non-clerical – hands. This story might reflect a strengthening of secular hands over and even against clerical ones. Something to consider and watch, in any case.

From to the Washington Examiner, via Belmont Club.

“It is quite possible, though, the FBI agents who interviewed Tsarnaev on both occasions failed to understand what they saw and heard because that’s what they were trained to do. As The Washington Examiner’s Mark Flatten reported last year, FBI training manuals were systematically purged in 2011 of all references to Islam that were judged offensive by a specially created five-member panel. Three of the panel members were Muslim advocates from outside the FBI, which still refuses to make public their identities. Nearly 900 pages were removed from the manuals as a result of that review. Several congressmen were allowed to review the removed materials in 2012, on condition that they not disclose what they read to their staffs, the media, or the general public.’’

This is THE problem. Whether the Saudi’s are lying or not the FBI and “Homeland Security” could not see what they didn’t want to see. It would appear that the only terrorists the FBI can find are those they catch in one of their stings or those that have already attacked. They undoubtedly viewed the Chechens as a separatist movement which they are. What they could not or would not fathom is that the Chechens are an Islamist serparatist movement with the emphasis on Islamist.

For what they might be worth, further thoughts on this story:

    MailOnline article excerpt:

“He dismissed the idea that Tamerlan Tsarnaev was likely trained by al Qaeda while he was outside the United States last year.

The Saudis’ Yemen-based sources, he explained, said militants referred to Tamerlan dismissively as ‘the volunteer.’

‘He was a gung-ho, self motivated jihadi who wasn’t tasked by a larger group,’ he said.

‘There is no reason for anyone in Afghanistan to have in his thinking a scenario like this,’ the official added, referring to pressure-cooker bombs at the Boston Marathon. ‘He took the initiative. That’s why they call him “the volunteer.”‘

‘The Boston thing is beneath them,’ he said of al Qaeda. ‘They don’t think like this. This is like a firecracker to them. They want something big.'”

In there – “gung-ho, self motivated jihadi who wasn’t tasked by a larger group” – is the likely core of this story: to say the Mongol acted alone in order to cover the Saudi behind by delinking the Mongol from AQ/Arabs/Taliban.

Yes, the explosion was too small for the potential target, not up to AQ standards. However, why does the “source” bring up Afghanistan, implying AQ focused there? Saud is focused there! They provide Taliban funding and diplomatic cover, have for years.

Yes, it’s Saud intel’s job to know where AQ is, but why pick out Afghanistan when Saud and everyone else knows AQ is all over the ME and North Africa and expanding rapidly? To deflect attention from Saud machinations for and against AQ all over the area. And also to protect AQ, who work for Saud and sometimes against Saud, and Taliban, who pretty much always work for Saud, from scrutiny regarding the attack in Boston.

And deeper, as to why Saud would want to go public in this way: they smell the Mongols’ approach. They know the history. They know Arabs – lazy, lascivious, lying sons-of-bitches – are no match for Mongols. They want to focus US and Western attention back on Mongols and off Arabs.

Mohammedanism is not monolithic, not by a long shot. It’s fundamental divisions are racial, not theological, which is also pretty much the case everywhere. The given name of the older brother is sufficient to ring fear in the heart of every Arab, Persian, Russian and Indian. And many Europeans. Here in USA we do not feel this history. We should. It’s at our door now. Fear is an inappropriate response to it.

And Arabs should be believed when pigs fly and be suspect each time the sun rises. They are lascivious adulterers.

“What they could not or would not fathom is that the Chechens are an Islamist serparatist movement with the emphasis on Islamist.”

I take your main point about the manual excision. Yup! Consequences.

However “separatist movement” is not the right description of aggressive Chechens. It’s like the description “freedom fighter.” Both are left-wing euphemisms for “fanatical, destructive, lethal sons-of-bitches.”

Chechens are Mongols in racial base and heart. Mongols are not separatists. They are imperialists and rulers. And very successful ones. Sure you know at least some of the history. Russians do.

Russia, India and USA are united in resolve to be not ruled by Mongols nor jacked around by sheep stealers and goat herds pumping oil and heroin.

Also, emphasis should be on Mongol, not Islamist. The former includes the later whereas the latter does not include the former. One should use the most penetrating description of a phenomenon.

Most “Mongols” at least the ones living in Mongolia are buddhists giving up conquering to have more time to contemplate their navels. That’s why they stopped making history several centuries ago. Don’t know about most Chechen’s but Speedbump and Gilligan are not Mongols I doubt they are even Turks.

Yeah, DHS has become an enormous white elephant. I don’t think we need a national police and internal security force.

It’s why I have no intention of applying to work for the FBI.
