Boston Terrorist Attack Aftermath: Best Tweets

21 April 2013 @ 02:14

Or, at least, the best ones I saw on Friday Night and on Saturday…

I think Jeff Goldstein captures how most sane people feel:

CZ did, as well:

We learned Friday Evening that Smitty is a psychic:

For some reason [maybe because it had been an exhausing week mentally], I listened to the whole of Obama’s remarks on Friday Evening, but Stacy McCain kept his head:

He also did the smart thing when it came to what media coverage he followed:

Greg Anderson made a telling point:

Ah…irony:   Methinks Aaron is dead-on accurate:

Here’s some more in no particular order:

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

Mrs. B. scolded me last night for calling them ‘kids’ — she was right, but in my defense: I’m fifty-one and any man under the age of thirty is a kid to me.

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

And…

Finally…

True, dyed-in-the-wool conservatives want it like that all the time.

The explination of these guys is pretty easy. Quietly radicalized Muslims who wanted to strike the “Great Satan”.

You know, for all the flack the U. S. A. gets about being the root of evil in this world, I sure as hell don’t get any benefits from it. Nothing material, or at least the occasional sneer at the underwashed hordes of dirty foreigners. We really need to parade a dictator through the streets of DC before his public execution following a Triumph.

For those who have no sense of humor, the proceeding paragraph is a very bad joke. Dry wit is not easy to do online.

Indeed, ’tis hard, but I, for one, think you succeeded.

I count zero root causes which explain/excuse planting a bomb at the feet of an 8-yr-old and his little sister.

Oh, I think there’s one root cause: Evil…pure Evil.

As an explanation, that would be true. From the second they were identified as ethnic Chechens I started hearing bullshit excuses–“they would’ve grown up during the war in Chechnya and that must’ve damaged them”, blah, blah, blah… Sorry, but lots of people go through bad shit and almost none of them plant bombs in front of children in order to exorcise their demons.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev, a Caucasian (from the Caucus Mountains) hated Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Quick call the race detectives Charles Johnson, Chris Matthews and David Sirota!

There have been some remarks as to why Bostonians acted as they did. The best explanation is found at,

In this case the cops weren’t anything to write home about either.

I’m with you on the true root cause Bob. We live in a fallen world, and sometimes Satan will slip his leash and inspires something truly vile.

I liked the tweet “paging Dr Gosnell.” OTOH, Gosnell needs his spinal cord snipped. I’m sure the demons will give him a proper welcome to his eternal home.
