Just Shut-Up, Sir Paul

20 November 2012 @ 17:42

From France24, we learn:

Former Beatle Paul McCartney, a long-time vegetarian, has joined a campaign by animal rights group PETA to encourage Americans to celebrate a turkey-free Thanksgiving this week.

The British rock legend, sporting a gray shirt with an “eat no turkey” design, is featured on the website of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“This Thanksgiving, Paul McCartney is urging you to say ‘no, thanks’ to turkey and ‘yes’ to a delicious, cruelty-free holiday meal,” the group says.

You’re not an American citizen.

This is not your holiday.

Hey Jude: go away.

Besides, you’re the Beatle we all hate.

TIP: Since you’re not going to eat any turkey, turkey…

So, what’s going to happen to the turkeys that wouldn’t get eaten?

Also, I’m looking forward to a few pots of turkey stew in the next week.

There is nothing wrong with not eating turkey. Northing wrong with trying to convince other people not to eat them. But damn, they taste so good…especially with some cornbread sausage chestnut stuffing.

“Dang nab, snorp flurble, For Christ sake, who left the damper one?

To this day, a string of frozen obscenities hang over Lake Michigan”

        Best Christmas movie ever !!

God made animals out of meat for a good reason. I will have my first fork full in honor of Sir Paul.

So sir Paulie wants us to have a “cruelty-free” Thanksgiving? Cruelty-free? And this from the man who gave us the song “Wonderful Christmastime.” A song that is considered torture when POWs are subjected to it.

    I followed Sir Paul’s advice:

Will be eating ham for next 5 days !!!
    WOO HOO !!
