The #BrettKimberlin Report D+14 Part II: Latest News From The Frontlines [Updated Below]

08 June 2012 @ 21:22

-Let’s start off with a warning to all bloggers: If you have received a trackback from the blog Thoughts And Rantings, I would recommend that you delete it.  That site is run by Charles Patrick Adkins [aka: Patrick, Paleo Pat, Chuck Adkins, Detroit Right, Old Right Blogger, k8cpa].  He is a deranged racist anti-Semite.  Back in February, Zilla published a great post on just who this fool is and some of the acts he has committed.

-Who is Martin Maher and why has Brett Kimberlin filed a Peace Order against him?  Some of our folks are investigating.  Tip of the fedora to Stacy McCain.

-John Hawkins’s chronicle of the misdeeds of Brett Kimberlin is a must-read and the post to show people who you’re trying to educate about this story.  Bravo, John.

-Yid With Lid fires back at his attackers [see this post for background].

CNN’s Don Lemmon interviews Erick Erickson.

-Mark Steyn in now aware of Brett Kimberlin thanks to Michelle Malkin.  He’s listened to the audio of the Walker hearing and comments:

At a hearing in Maryland arising from Kimberlin’s “lawfare” campaign, the blogger Aaron Walker was arrested. Aside from the merits of the case, I was struck by the appalling performance of the presiding judge, one C. J. Vaughey. As is increasingly the way with our decaying justice system, there is no easily searchable court transcript, only an audio tape that a few individual bloggers have been painstakingly transcribing. Judge Vaughey comes across as a near parodic combination of bluster, ignorance and narcissism…

Over the years, I’ve faced unsympathetic judges in various courts around the world, but I can’t recall ever listening to such a stream of unjudicial drivel from the bench as that which poured from Judge Vaughey….

Damn straight.

However, the vast majority of people at National Review continue to ignore this whole story; only a few, such as Jonathan Adler, Jim Geraghty, and David French, have mentioned it.  As with The Daily Caller, NRO is a disgrace.

More to follow.

UPDATE at 2149…

-Over at The American Spectator, Stacy McCain has published an excellent report.  A highlight:

Somewhere between the time in October 2010 he threatened to sue Patrick Frey and the decision last week to make a similar threat toward Ali Akbar, Brett Kimberlin crossed a Rubicon of desperation and burned the bridge behind him. In the past three weeks, Kimberlin and his allies have escalated their deceitful war against conservative bloggers to the point that it cannot be ignored, and must now be fought to a conclusion with the entire political world watching.

-Chris Wysocki spells out exactly why we expect the Congress to act on this matter of domestic terrorism via Lawfare:

Perhaps National Day of Blogger Silence is a misnomer. We won’t be silenced! But we will be focused. Focused like a laser on the nefarious antics of Brett Kimberlin and his demented army of thugs. And not, as our political associates would like, on the things they care about, such as elections and fundraising.

Why? So our elected representatives will take notice of our plight, and bring the auspices of their good offices to bear on our behalf.

It’s called petitioning our government for a redress of grievances and it too is a fundamental right of all who embrace Liberty and Freedom.

-Adrienne, who has joined me in not being silent, has published a great pic that, in a nutshell, explains our case.

-Duane Lester, one of the fiercest of the Wolverines, has up a post with more information on Kimberlin’s character and some damn fine aggregation.  It lays out why people should care about this monster.

-Speaking of aggregations, over at the Frugal Cafe, Vicki has up a damn fine one [tip of the fedora to The Lonely Conservative].

-This Tweet from Ali today is very heartening:

Ali A. Akbar @ali

Monday at least 70 members of Congress will ask Holder to investigate the SWAT calls. via @ewerickson … ‪#brettkimberlin‬ …

-Over at the Conservative Hideout, Matt issues a call to arms that is dead solid perfect:

So, it seems that there is more and more light being shed on the situation. However, from previous actions, we can safely assume that the attempts to silence bloggers will continue. Since these are leftists with whom we are dealing, we should not assume that violence is not out of the questions. Leftists, by their own nature, are rather violent (see Unions, OWS, and the like), so I see that as still being on the table for them. That does not mean that we should be violent ourselves. We have the truth, and the First Amendment, on our side. While it might be a slog for a while, the truth always wins in the end. Leftist tactics are used in the assumption that the target will give up after a war of attrition. Remember Alinsky’s Rule 13…

Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.

As well as rule 8.

Keep the pressure on.

Here’s the trick; if the target hangs on, the tactics fail, because they are based on fear, and lies. Armed with the truth, and refusing to break down or back down causes the attacker increased exposure, both for his tactics, as well as his motives. In other words, the longer we make them act unscrupulously, the more and more people see that they are unscrupulous.

Just think of the unions in Wisconsin. The longer they exposed themselves as thugs, the more and more people saw that they were thugs. And, even with millions spent, and a path of intimidation, violence and destruction, they still lost. This is just another reflection of that reality.

So, let’s keep on going, they more they act out, the more people that see what they really are.

Keep rattling these animal’s cages.  Keep them off-balance.  L’Audace!

Possibly more later.

This whole thing seems bigger than just Brett Kimberlin and his associates I’m wondering if we’re concentrating on just one or two trees in a very large forest.

Hey Bob, Ole Detroit Moobs is back to his shenanigans, sucking up to unsuspecting bloggers while still attacking Conservatives. Here’s his latest twitter account, oh and in addition to yet another meltdown, he also apparently blames America for 9/11:
Part of his new schtick is to scream about “neocons” which is funny since as a liberal who allegedly became conservative, wouldn’t he BE a “neocon” by definition, if he weren’t in fact just a vile blob of incoherent idiocy?

I saw him trying to communicate with Stevie West – hope she saw through him.

Not right away, she actually paid him to host her blog on his hosting re-seller business, then someone managed to get the warning to her so she split and he had a huge meltdown on twitter and in a weird freaking video today. Apparently while he had control of her site, he was putting stuff there without her permission as well, he admits it in his weird video where he also has a bunch of bizarre accusations about me and The Lonely Conservative. He really is a very fucked up “person”.
Apparently he posts a lot of videos of himself, all super creepy:
It’s sad that he keeps hurting innocent people, and that he keeps coming back when he figures everyone has forgotten about him so he can do it again.

          I’m glad she caught on.
