[Note at 1939: I’m making this post a sticky one until Saturday Afternoon, so please look below for newer postings.]
In the late 1970’s, science historian James Burke wrote and hosted a show called Connections, in which Burke ‘took an interdisciplinary approach to the history of science and invention and demonstrated how various discoveries, scientific achievements, and historical world events were built from one another successively in an interconnected way to bring about particular aspects of modern technology‘. He showed how seemingly unrelated people and events had actually been connected.
Stacy McCain, Matthew Vadum, and others are now doing the same thing with George Soros, The Tides Foundation, convicted domestic terrorist Brett Kimberlin, a top Democratic consultant, an influential Leftist blogger, and some more folks are connected in a scheme to harass conservative bloggers, Twitter users, and, generally, just any one on the Right who tries to expose the Left for what it believes and what it is doing.
Stacy is all over this story and has filed two reports so far on it. I talked with him last night and he is working on it as I write this, so expect more of his usual through reporting to be published.
From his first report:
Former Patterico co-blogger Aaron Worthing details the efforts of convicted “Speedway Bomber” Brett Kimberlin to shut down conservative bloggers through a strategy of legal intimidation. Why am I not surprised that the notorious Democratic Party operative Neal Rauhauser’s name turns up Worthing’s account?
…
… Rauhauser’s involvement as an alleged “associate” of connected terrorist Brad Kimberlin is not exactly surprising, because Rauhauser’s “Beandogs”/”TwitterGate” activities showed him to be utterly dishonest and despicably cruel….
Mr. Worthing [real name ‘Walker’] and his wife were fired from their jobs due to the efforts of terrorist Kimberlain [the link Stacy provides to Mr. Walker’s posting on this, be warned, in 28,000 words long — you might try the summary, found here, written by Dan Collins].
From Stacy’s second report:
Convicted Terrorist Brett Kimberlin Received $70,000 From Tides Foundation, $10,000 From Streisand, $20,000 from John Kerry’s Wife
Investigative journalist Matthew Vadum reports a blockbuster: Brett Kimberlin, the convicted felon who terrorized an Indiana town during a weeklong 1978 bombing spree, has received funding from influential “progressive” foundations….
For background on Brett Kimberlin, the Speedway Bomber, which involves a murder, a suicide, and, perhaps, pedophilia, please click here.
Stacy believes — and I wholeheartedly concur with him — that this story needs to break out and spread all as far and as wide as possible. So, I would ask you to link to his reports and those of Mr. Vadum and others and let’s see if we can’t make this go viral.
SIDENOTE: The situations I described here may be connected to this story.
UPDATE at 1939…
-Stacy has published two more reports since I put this up earlier today.
In the first, he reminds us the Andrew Breitbart warned us about Kimberlain, Rauhauser, and Friedman last October and updates on what has been uncovered so far. A highlight:
Now, it gets interesting: A site called “Breitbart Unmasked” has published a list of what it calls “The Breitbart Crew,” including everyone from Brent Bozell III to Dave Weigel of Slate.
Patterico and Worthing suspect “Breitbart Unmasked” and Brett Kimberlin are one and the same. On Twitter last night, @BreitbartUnmask denied being Brett Kimberlin, but it is curious to observe how people who tell the truth about Kimberlin become the subject of attacks from ”Breitbart Unmasked.”
The second one can be found here and concerns what Donald Douglas has been through.
-Thanks to GatorDoug for the link.

To hit back at Kimberlin by emphasizing the despicable tactics he uses against bloggers won’t get much traction as it will remain an “internet” squabble unless it gets on Fox.
Bob, maybe an actual link to me would be, ah….
