Linky Lovin’ The Ladies: 05 May 2012 A.D.

With Your Host
The Dean Martin of The Rightosphere
BOB BELVEDERE

Hello everybody.  How did everybody get in my room?  It’s been quite a busy past couple of months in Il Blogosphero, so let’s get right to the business at hand: throwing a little Linky Love at those wonderful gals out there who are the backbone of the movement to restore America to her greatness…

-Pundette is one of the fiercest warriors out there defending Truth, Justice, and The American Way [‘It’s a bird!’ / ‘It’s a plane!’ / ‘It’s Supermom!‘].  You can count on her to cut through the BS and get to the heart of any issue.  She is also one of the most skilled aggregators in The Rightosphere.  Both talents are on display in a post she recently published on Obama’s ‘Julia’ ad.  A highlight from her comments:

I heard a guy on Hannity yesterday trying to defend Obama’s record. He couldn’t come up with a single specific thing Obama has done to improve anything. At one point the poor schmuck resorted to “He’s making a brighter future for America.” Reality-based arguments can’t break through the kind of barriers some people have erected in their minds. Facts, reason, and even one’s own deteriorating personal circumstances will barely make a dent.

[SIDENOTE: Though I rarely, if ever, mention men in these LLTL postings, justice demands I link Iowahawk’s excellant parody of the ‘Julia’ ad.  However, I suppose it is okay to do this as I’ve seen him in a dress [don’t ask] and it, shall we say, suits him.]

-The first gal I crowned The Boudica Of The Blogosphere [there have been others since, but she was my first], Roxeanne de Luca, also has another aggregation up on this whole ‘Julia’ michegas and offers some pointed, knife-to-the-heart-of-the-Bolshes commentary on this matter.

Roxe has also graced us with another installment of her Dear Roxeanne series, this time calling a spade a spade, or, perhaps, more appropriately in this case, a dickhead a dickhead.

-Over at Bluebird Of Bitterness [am I supposed to use capitals?], BOB, one of TCOTS’s most loyal readers [Thank You] and a heckuva gal, gives us the sweet and sour on the Obama Campaign’s new motto ‘Forward!’ — make mine a whiskey sour, honey.

Also, BOB answers the question: ‘Who let the dogs out?’

-Barb [once again: am I supposed to use a capital (I hate you, e.e. cummings!)] also weighs-in on the new slogan and provides us with some curious ‘coincidences’.

-Dame Maggie, Mistress of Maggie’s Notebook, took a tumble and injured her back, and then she got a pinched nerve, so she hasn’t been blogging.  Why not head on over and throw a little Get Well Love her way.

-Over at Political Clown Parade, Carol Curmudgeon has some graphical fun with The Jug-Eared Wonder Boy.

-Pat Austin fearlessly confronts the horrors that are Stephen King’s ideas and triumphs against them.

-The Old Broad pulls no punches — and we like it that way.

-Amusing Bunni serves up some Downton Tabby for our delectation.

-Time has not permitted me to link love every gal I wanted to.  Here are a few I was unable to send my love vibes to: Loopy Loo [she’s quite sane, actually], Little Miss Attila [she’s really a softy], Adrienne [she rocks], Vicki [she ain’t cheap], Red [WOOT!], Obi’s Sister [wisdom runs in that family], Nooneofanyimport [not true], Nice Deb [she really is], Kathy Shaidle [she’s actually Five Feet Of Fun!]…I know I’ve missed a few of you ladies [regrets…I’ve had a few…] and I apologize, but it doesn’t mean I don’t linky love you all.

-Well that’s about it for this time around.  To all the gals we didn’t get to: don’t worry, this is going to be a semi-regular feature here at TCOTS — we’ll eventually get around to all you wonderful ladies.  So many ladies, so little time — that’s been the story of my whole life…ah, well….

Keep those card and letter coming.

Thanks for stopping by and remember…

Everybody links somebody sometime
Everybody tracks it back somehow
Something in your blog just told me
My sometime is now

If I had it in my power
I would arrange for every girl to have your posts
Then every minute, every hour
Every boy we found what I found in your archives

Everybody links somebody sometime
Everybody tracks it back somehow
Something in your blog just told me
My sometime….
Is….
Now…..

[spoken] Everybody links somebody sometime and I link you a whooole lot…

Goodnight everybody.

Aw, you doll. Thanks so much for including me. Lately, it’s been hard to keep up with my blog and with you excellent blog buddies, so everytime I get remembered, well it means a whole lot.
