Newt To Drop Out: Score Another Victory For Nemesis

25 April 2012 @ 13:36

Newton Leroy Gingrich, the man who looks like an elderly lesbian with thyroid issues, appears ready to throw in the extra large beach towel and end his campaign for the GOP Nomination.

Stacy McCain has up a report on the story that begins:

Seems like just the other day ”sources close to the campaign” were saying Newt would go all the way to Tampa, but now — probably just about the time their paychecks started bouncing — “two sources close to Gingrich tell CNN” otherwise.

He’s got all the details and links here, including a stroll down memory lane when Newton first began stepping in it last year [Memories…/Like the folds in my-y flab….]. Also, check out Stacy’s reporting on last night’s primaries here.

Bob: Hello? Yes….uh huh…okay, sure, right away….what?….size 11D…you’re welcome.
[hangs up]
Bob: Hey Newt! That was the Dog Track on the phone; they wanted you to know they still have your seat reserved.

Looks like we’re all team Mittens now, at least Obama’s people are stepping in it so badly that it’s actually kind of fun defending Mitt since everything the left comes up with agaisnt he guy we have something ten times worse about Zero to hit them back with.
I’d feel sorry for newt’s supporters, if so many of them hadn’t acted like such dicks to Rick Santorum’s supporters after HE dropped out. They were like vultures, it was a turn off.

There was a time when I thought that there’s no way i would vote for Romney, but then I came to my senses. I’m trying my darndest to like him now. We have to defeat the Marxist who’s trying to ruin our country at every turn.

We don’t have to like the people in the trenches with us, the fact of the matter is if either Gingrich or Santorum had dropped out months ago Romney would still be the nominee. Romney and his super PAC only concentrated on the current front runner smearing each in their turn. Bottom line here is if one puts their time and effort into the stupid party one still should expect stupid results. It’s probably too late in any case but if it’s not, operation Whig is our only recourse.
