Bat S–t Crazy Fever

From Yahoo News, Lee-Anne Goodman <strike>reporting</strike> editorializing, we learn:

"It isn’t the enemy that ruined America," [Ted Nugent] said as he reaffirmed his endorsement of Republican front-runner Mitt Romney.

"It’s good people who bent over and let the enemy in. If the coyote’s in your living room pissing on your couch, it’s not the coyote’s fault. It’s your fault for not shooting him."

"If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year," he said angrily. "We need to ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November."

He then told his audience of proud gun-owners that if they failed to "clean house in this vile, evil, America-hating administration, I don’t even know what you’re made out of."

The Secret Service says it’s aware of the weekend remarks and is looking into them. It’s illegal in the United States to threaten the commander-in-chief.

The Romney campaign, meantime, attempted to distance itself from Nugent on Tuesday, undoubtedly regretting the former Massachusetts governor’s comments last month to a Missouri radio show: "It’s been fun getting to know Ted Nugent."

"Divisive language is offensive no matter what side of the political aisle it comes from," Romney spokeswoman Andrea Saul said in an email to reporters. "Mitt Romney believes everyone needs to be civil."

-The Left, of course, is falling all over themselves to denounce Mr. Nugent and claim he threatened Barack Hussein Obama.

-I had no problem understanding exactly what Mr. Nugent meant and anyone who couldn’t decipher the meaning in tens seconds is either a fool or a liar.

But, for those who fall in the former category, let me spell it out for you: Ted Nugent believes that, if the Socialist is re-elected, the government will seek to confiscate our guns and, those of us that resist such a gross violation of our Second Amendment rights, will either wind-up in jail or be murdered by the government. And, sadly, it is a very real possibility that, indeed, a re-elected Obama, given that he believes he will enjoy more ‘flexibility’ in his second term, would try to take our arms.

-As for the rest of Mr. Nugent’s remarks, except for the cretins, those denouncing them know damn well that he was speaking metaphorically.

-Tom Maguire agrees [tip of the fedora to Wombat-Socho's Live At Five].

-William Teach comments on Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s reaction.

-Doesn’t the Secret Service have other things to do [like paying hookers the monies they have earned]?

-Willard M. Romney is such a pussy.

I wonder if stiffing hookers is policy. Your characterization of Nugent’s remarks are correct. If the SS should just have a quiet little chat with him and then drop the matter.
