The Naked Face Of Leftism…And The GOP Establishment

29 March 2012 @ 13:41

The Left keeps showing it’s naked face in Wisconsin, as Steve from Granite Grok informs us [tip of the fedora to Smitty]:

I’m sure you know the story about the woman verbally abused by a talk radio host?

When lefty Wisconsin radio host John “Sly” Sylvester accused Kleefisch of performing “fellatio on all the talk-show hosts in Milwaukee” and sneered that she had “pulled a train” (a crude phrase for gang sex), feminists remained silent.

No? Not familiar? You never heard about the radio talk show host suggesting that the female Lt. Governor of Wisconsin was performing oral sex on scores of other radio talk show hosts or getting gang banged? What was missing?

The feminist outrage? The 24 hour news cycle beating the story to death? The lack of support from hoards of left wing bloggers and Democrat politicians claiming to be fighting against the War on Women? How about an apology, did we miss that too?

The quote he cites is from Michelle Malkin’s latest column, which also reports:

The outlook for the unhinged Left’s secondary targets, however, is not so bright. Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefisch, a tea party candidate who is not part of the GOP establishment, is being treated as collateral damage by the party. Outside of Wisconsin, most conservative activists are not even aware that she may be booted from office for simply doing her job. Kleefisch told me that on a recent fundraising swing in D.C., national GOP leaders were shocked to learn of her plight.

Kleefisch, a 36-year-old colon cancer survivor, is a fighter who points to her two young daughters when I ask why she’s in the political arena. What message would it send to young tea party moms across the country if Walker survived but Kleefisch was hung out to dry? Will Beltway Republican strategists and donors who constantly harp about the need to diversify the party step up to the plate? [Donate to
Kleefisch's defense here.]

Sarah Palin is not pleased:

Governor Walker has left the far Left unhinged, so he’s had to amass a war chest to fend off the lies and dirty dealings in the capitol; and, thankfully, it’s predicted he’ll survive his recall.

But the recall fight that is just as important is Lt. Governor Rebecca Kleefisch’s. Please click this link to help her.

She’s being thrown beyond the wolf pack – she’s also under the GOP establishment’s bus because this Tea Party “Mama Grizzly” beat the establishment candidate when she got elected. (And dang, it’s uncomfortable under that chassis!) Rebecca must be thinking, “With friends like these, who needs enemies?” Worse than seeing radical Leftists attack and make things up about a Conservative female opponent is when supporters on the Right sit on their thumbs and act as if there’s nothing they can do to help. Come on! When all else fails you can at least tell the truth! Tell other voters why you supported Rebecca in the first place. Explain her campaign promises and how she has stuck to them and – surprising in today’s political world – is actually fulfilling them. She promised to help balance the budget, cut taxes, build a sound fiscal environment, and provide job opportunities for all Wisconsin residents – not only our union brothers and sisters. She’s setting an example for every other state in the union because responsible state and local governments will be the entities that defend our Republic at a time when there is less and less reason to believe our big centralized federal government will address its self-perpetuated economic problems.

The far Left has targeted Lt. Governor Kleefisch in particular because they know she’s been busy working and hasn’t raised anywhere near the money Governor Walker has to weather his recall. And get this: they are hoping to keep her off the same ballot as Governor Walker, and instead they would love to put her on a ballot during a Democratic primary in order to give her the worst voter turn out possible. It’s vicious. She’s in the fight of her political life for doing nothing more than what she and Governor Walker were elected to do. If Wisconsin sees either of these two go down in defeat, it will have a chilling effect on any public servant having the guts to do what’s right.

Once again, members of the GOP Establishment are providing aid and comfort to the enemy.

Those who have abandoned Lt. Governor Kleefisch are nothing but Whigs and deserve to be retired for medical reasons: we’ve gotten sick of them.

It ain’t aid and comfort to the enemy when you’re essentially on the same side.

And that’s the big swindle, the ultimate con job…and a lot of the little puppies are in on it, hoping the big dawgs will give them some leftover slivers of bone. I can hear it now: “Spike, Spike, we’re friends…right Spike?”

I had not heard about the Lt Gov’s plight. Thx for sharing. It’s particularly ironic news for me, given the fact that I’m going over to that silly “Top 25 Political Moms” contest to vote every 24 hours, and most of the leftist blogs are “feminist moms,” and the top blog in particular is a “feminist” committed to getting Walker recalled.

Ah, but they are only interested in your girly rights if you profess the correct dogma, no?

(Shameless plug alert) Ooh, you have been voting to get the Lonely Conservative into the 1st place slot there, right? And me, and Zilla, and Edge of the Sandbox, and Temple of Mut, and some others are further down the list . . .

Can’t wait until after the 2012 elections are over and a new party is formed. Bye bye, Republicrats/Demoblicans. You are both the same with slightly different packaging. Smug in your cozy one hand washing the other arrangement. Too bad you both are only interested in your own power, not in administering the government so the rights of the people are protected. Oops! Sorry! Didn’t mean to spill the beans! We can’t let the suckers think they actually have any control over the government! That’s for the smart folks!

What has happened is that we have bought in to the false narrative that the left is powerful. They are not. They are a small percentage of the population. Their strength is that they stick together, at least for the most part. Too many on our end are hung out to dry, and left unsupported, like the Lt. Gov.
