‘Tis Pity She’s A Whore [Updated Below]

05 March 2012 @ 14:49

Do I even have to mention that I’m speaking Sandra Fluke, or, as Jeff Goldstein has labeled her, the ‘supposed “courageous” Silkwood of the spermicidal sponge’?

Mzzz. Fluke claims that it costs a thousand dollars a year to purchase enough birth control to keep her free of the awful condition known as pregnancy. John McCormack of The Weekly Standard called a pharmacy near Georgetown, where the thorty year old Fluke is enrolled in the law school, and found that:

…Birth control pills can be purchased for as low as $9 per month at a pharmacy near Georgetown’s campus. According to an employee at the pharmacy in Washington, D.C.’s Target store, the pharmacy sells birth control pills–the generic versions of Ortho Tri-Cyclen and Ortho-Cyclen–for $9 per month. “That’s the price without insurance,” the Target employee said. Nine dollars is less than the price of two beers at a Georgetown bar.

ASIDE: If the beers are four dollars a piece, how much would it cost a man to consume enough to want to sleep with the hirsute, looks like a woman’s softball league player, Fluke? I think Georgetown men should demand that this be covered by all insurance [and also the cost of repairing the eyes they try to pull out the next morning when they wake up beside her]. I kid because I ridicule fools. Although, unlike your Courageous Dispatcher, it must be noted that Stacy McCain has apologized for some remarks:

…it is inaccurate to imply that Sandra Fluke is unattractive.A recent survey I’ve conducted indicates that 27% of men are attracted to women with the “varsity softball scholarship” look. In fact, seven out of 10 Eritrean immigrant cab drivers in the D.C. metropolitan area say that they would be attracted to Sandra Fluke, especially if her family were willing to provide a dowry that included a small herd of goats, or if they could score a Permanent Residency Visa out of the deal.

Also, if given a choice between Maureen Dowd and Sandra Fluke, the Eritrean cab drivers would unanimously choose Fluke.

Rush Limbaugh labeled her a ‘slut’ and caught an awful lot of grief for doing so. A number of sponsors decided to no longer advertise on his show and, of course, the Left and their toadies in the MSM and their Useful Idiots in the GOP denounced him so vehemently that the main issue at hand was mysteriously lost in the stew of outrage at El Rushbo [perhaps Stacy McCain has discovered one of the reasons why this happened].

Sadly, Mr. Limbaugh has apologized [Stacy has a follow-up post here with some background info]. There was nothing wrong with the words he used – they were true.

The only mistake El Rushbo made [besides apologizing] is that he didn’t use the most accurate word when he used the descriptor ‘slut’.

The Collins English Dictionary, in one of it’s definitions of the word ‘slut’ defines it as ‘2. an immoral woman’, and Fluke certainly is that. After all, she (1) is an open, avowed Leftist, (2) has admitted she entered Georgetown Law School under false pretenses, and (3) has implied that she has a lot of sex without stressing that she is, at least, in a committed relationship. While we are unsure of the third, the first two together show that she is immoral, that she has, as all people must who wish to be Leftists, rejected Morality and embraced [hopefully with protection] Relativism.

The more accurate word to describe Mzzz. Fluke would be ‘whore’, which The Collins defines, in part, as ‘to seek that which is immoral, idolatrous, etc.’. Well, clearly, the lady in her appearance at Pelosi’s sham hearing, doth be whoring, therefore, the lady is a whore. And, if she is having as much sex as she implies, she fits the other definitions of the word, as well.

Over at The Washington Examiner, Charlie Spiering reports on what Mr. Limbaugh said on his show earlier today:

“This is the mistake I made,” said Limbaugh, “In fighting them (the left) on this issue last week, I became like them, against my own instincts against my own knowledge, against everything I know to be right and wrong I descended to their level . . that was my error, I became like them and I feel very badly about that.”

Limbaugh said that he never thought that Fluke was a slut and still doesn’t believe that she is a slut, but was only using satire to make a point.

“Those two words were inappropriate, they were uncalled for, they distracted from the point i was actually trying to make, and again I sincerely apologize.” Limbaugh repeated, who added, “I acted too much like the leftists.”

Wrong, Rush.

First of all, as I have shown, the words you used were pretty accurate, my gentle quibbling not withstanding. By saying such fitting words are not appropriate when they clearly are, you are playing right into the Leftist’s hands by denying those words their legitimacy – which is something that only Leftists do.

As Jeff Goldstein writes:

So. Did Limbaugh’s apology change anything? Or has it merely emboldened those who will use any tools to silence us to step up the scapegoating, and demand even further loyalty pledges and movement purges?

Just asking. Because as you all know, I would have fought the very premise that the Left and it’s faux outrage over Limbaugh’s use of “slut” was anything more than an intentional attempt to take him out of context and use the resultant disingenuous narrative to silence powerful voices who stand in opposition to their political agenda of “fundamental transformation.” I would have loudly and clearly told them that we won’t be cowed by your dishonest and cynical rhetorical gamesmanship — and that we see right through you.

But then, I’m an outlier. And not a pussy.

I guess we’ll see how the right’s willingness to pile on against Limbaugh in order to avoid taking a (presumed) hit with “moderates and independents” works out for them in the long run. My guess is, they get precisely what they deserve: more of the same.

Dead solid perfect.

Mr. Limbaugh: your act of weakness has hurt the efforts of those of us who are fighting to restore our freedoms and liberties. You’ve made our task much the harder.

[And you probably have caused Andrew Breitbart to spin around in his grave.]

As they heaped their calumnies upon you, your response should have been simply: SO? Instead, you wimped out.

[And, by the way, thanks Rush, for as Stacy wrote:

So “slut” joins the “n-word” on the List of Forbidden Terms, and we are now at a loss for any way to describe Meghan McCain.

Thanks a lot, pal, you made our job of dealing with Boopsie McCain a lot harder.]

UPDATE at 1943…

From Stacy McCain we learn that Sandra Fluke is not only more of a whore than we thought, but she’s also more slutty….and rather nutty.

The mentally damaged young lady believes gender reassignment surgeries must be covered by all health insurance plans.

Anyone who doesn’t think that Sandra Fluke is an agent of the Socialists is a fool.  She knows exactly what she is doing.  As Stacy comments:

Congratulations, America: You’ve been scammed!

One has to wonder if she is even a heterosexual.

Who is funding her efforts?  Who is advising her?

UPDATE at 2003…

Over in the Comments section of Stacy’s post, Jeff Weimer comments:

This, this is why we should never listen to those who tell us to stop with the “social issues”. Because they won’t.

It would be a pre-emptive surrender to people like Sandra Fluke – a committed “social issues” liberal; who embedded herself at Georgetown for the specific issue of forcing employers to fund that with which they morally disagree.

Exactly.  For too long we have been surrendering every single time the Left plays this game.  Their successful scheme to get us to self-silence has allowed them to inflict on us, via all our institutions, the vast majority of those social and cultural horrors that plague us today.  What a bunch of gutless and feeble droogies we are.

UPDATE at 2021…

The Camp Of Saints, Jean Raspail, Chapter 33:

…Forget the serious works of art—the fiction, the plays, the music—things aimed at a small intellectual elite. Let’s just talk about the media, so called, and the shameless way certain people, under the guise of freedom, took a tool meant for mass communication, twisted and warped it, and used it to bully the minds of the public. The few clear thinkers left tried to warn us. But we wouldn’t listen. We gave way to one huge masochistic frenzy, dragged from nightmare to nightmare. We never said no. We wanted to show how permissive we could be, despite the foolish risk that, one day, we would have to face everything, all at once, and all alone. You remember, monsieur! You remember those clever campaigns worked out with such devilish skill to demoralize the nation and break down its spirit. No more colonial wars. Vietnam and all that. But that was just the beginning. We’ve come a long way, and there’s no turning back….

The Camp Of Saints, Jean Raspail, Chapter 40:

…When everything in society suddenly stops functioning rationally, that’s when the misfits crawl out of the woodwork. And with them their resentments, their utopian visions, their neuroses and psychoses. Mad dogs on the loose. A merry-go-round of feeble minds, free at last of all social fetters….

Could This Be One Explanation?

See my commentary on this subject and how it interrelates with the Obama admin’s efforts to destroy the Bill of Rights at Calitalist Preservation here: http://capitalistpreservation.blogspot.com/2012/03/prostitution-by-left-or-how-hhs-mandate.html

Folks: Do go read his post – it’s a damn fine one.

    1. Miss Fluke’s tender feeling were apparently hurt by someone using the word “slut” to describe her. Well, if an unmarried woman is having so much sex with so many partners that contraceptives are costing her a thousand dollars a year, and if she is not ashamed to go on national television to proclaim to the whole world how much sex she is having, what IS the right word to describe such a woman?

    2. For an unmarried woman in her childbearing years who does not wish to bear children, sex is purely a recreational activity. If taxpayers must be forced to bear the cost of Georgetown coeds’ preferred form of recreation, then in fairness taxpayers must also bear the cost of everyone else’s favorite forms of recreation. It’s called equal protection under the law. If I prefer casino gambling to having sex, may I send the bill for my gambling debts to Barack Obama and ask for reimbursement?

    3. Democrats clearly orchestrated this whole brouhaha to take the spotlight off our SCOAMF marxist-in-chief. No one has ever suggested making contraception illegal, probably no one ever even thought about it, and certainly no one who tried to do any such thing would have even a ghost of a chance of success — and liberals know it, but they will tell any lie necessary to get Obama re-elected so he can complete the job he started of destroying America. It’s pathetic that our government-run school system has done such an exemplary job of dumbing the citizenry down that there are millions of eligible voters who will believe their lies and think that if Obama loses, some government meanie is going to come into their homes and take away all their precious birth control pills and morning-after pills and RU486 (or whatever they use these days to kill children mistakenly conceived).

    4. Have you seen this?

    • 05 March 2012 @ 17:52 17:52

      Very well put.

We can’t let the Left continue to control the Narrative and change it at will.

      • 05 March 2012 @ 18:03 18:03

        From a friend:

“Without insurance coverage, guns and ammunition can cost a woman over $3,000 during law school. For a lot of students who, like me, are on public interest scholarships, that’s practically an entire summer’s salary. One told us of how embarrassed and powerless she felt when she was standing at the gun shop counter, learning for the first time that ammunition wasn’t covered, and had to walk away because she couldn’t afford it.”

I was also disappointed — until I heard today’s show when Rush said that he should not had succumbed to the level of the left.

    • 05 March 2012 @ 19:37 19:37

But Rush didn’t descend to the level of the Left. Unlike the Left who have thrown out the term ‘slut’ without it being tied to reality, he used it according to one of it’s proper meanings.

With his apology, Rush played by the Left’s rules.

      • 05 March 2012 @ 20:15 20:15

In this day and age “slut” doesn’t really qualify for an insult. I’m sure Sandra Fluke didn’t lose any sleep over it. The outrage over this is just so faux. However, Rush himself feels that he could have chosen a different word.

She’s not even worth the time for a drunk sailor after a few months on a be-no barge*.

In all honesty, the disconnect of sex and reproduction by a large segment of the population is the largest change in human behaviour quite possibly in history. Also, I find her demands that I subsidize her pleasure to be insulting.

What next, a free TV in every house?

*Be-no barge: a ship that, while underway, stops at no ports until it returns home. Be no beer, be no women, be no liberty. These days, due to certain behaviours that aren’t talked about in polite company, the second item does come underway.

A is A, a thing is always what it is and, according to the definition found in every major dictionary, Mzzz. Fluke is, and remains, a slut.

  6. 06 March 2012 @ 19:24 19:24

Actually, the problem with Rush’s use of “slut” to describe Ms. Fluke is that it’s accurate. Sarah Palin and Condi Rice are no one’s animated sex toys, but those terms are used to debase them all the time. Then you get a woman who lacks self-respect, sleeps around, brags in front of the nation that she sleeps around, and then asks that broke nation to pay for it – heavens, you can’t call HER a slut!

One of the many fascinating things about this “women’s health” nonsense is the utter failure to address STDs, how the Pill does nothing to prevent STDs, and how those diseases hurt women more than men.
