Rule 5 News Special: Scarlett Johansson – Salacious Social Activist*

29 November 2011 @ 21:30

SUBITITLE: Righting A Grevious Wrong

In a typically competent bit of reporting earlier today, Stacy McCain published a post about Scarlett Johansson’s recent interview with Vanity Fair wherein the lovely lass showed that she, while a skilled actress, should not attempt to pontificate on political matters in a public forum for all to see.

After quoting Miss Johansson’s boorish bloviation, Stacy offers his usual spot-on analysis.  A highlight:

This shouldn’t be surprising, given the notorious liberalism of Hollywood, but it doesn’t make sense to those of us out here in the rest of America, where pretty girls generally tend to be conservative. To cite one example, the annual Reaganpalooza, the post-CPAC party sponsored by the Young Conservatives Coalition, is a total babefest.

Perhaps it’s something intrinsic to the entertainment industry, where the relationship between hard work and success is less obvious, that causes people in show business to be so peculiarly liberal.

Please do take the time to click here and read the rest and see the boorish bloviation first-hand.

While Stacy deserves all the praise in the world for his crackerjack reporting and top-notch analysis, there is one area where he has failed utterly and totally and miserably in this situation: he only published one — count it ‘one’ — picture of the attractive lady in question — and that one was just a simple close-up of her face!

I must say I’m very disappointed in my Rule 5 Mentor!

I expected something more va-va-va-voomy from the man, the legend, who created Rule 5!

But, alas and alack [and Afflack], it was not to be! [At least Admiral Teach got it right!]

Therefore, I, Robert Oswald Belvedere, Rule 5 Mojo Master Supremo, Lord Of The Ladies, Baron Of The Boudoir, Generalissimo Of Galistan, will pick up that standard that Stacy Pickett dropped!

Herewith, a brief primer on getting a Rule 5 post right…Click

There are conservative Hollywood babes, luv. But why don’t you just go with Susan Sarandon next?

It would be too difficult as I would only be able to use pictures of her with her mouth closed.

Thanks for the link, Bob. And for the great pics of Scarlett.

      My pleasure, Admiral.

Scarlett is a dog, geez guys! No wonder you do rule 5’s, you can’t find a 10 these days. The era of beautiful actresses is long gone, you know, back when their body parts weren’t fake, they looked good even without a bunch of makeup caked on their faces and they actually had curves…their own.

Congrats Bob on the million plus.

Thanks. There are a few, a very few, these days that remind one of the old era. Christina Hendricks, for one.

  6. 02 December 2011 @ 13:58 13:58

Christina wears dresses that are so tight and low cut that it makes her look uneven, she needs to dress more appropriately up top, a little less cleavage, less is more.

Name one actress of today that has the beauty and sex appeal of women like Natalie Wood, Kim Novak, Liz Taylor, Ava Garner, Sophia Loren. The problem is, the younger generation of men don’t know ladies like them, they grew up in the thin is in era and have no standard of real beauty by which to go by.

I grew up in the era of beautiful voluptuous women and then Twiggy came along, all of a sudden she became the role model for what women should look like. Disgusting!

Granted, beauty is in the eye of the beholder but beauty starts at the top and works it’s way down, not the other way around but I guess that’s why they make paper bags.

To counteract your rule 5, check out my rule 10.
