The Spot-On Quote Of The Day…

28 June 2011 @ 09:02

…is awarded to – and I can’t believe I’m doing this, but, well, an idiot is right at least once a day – Harry ‘The School Marm’ Reid for this incredibly accurate and succinct description of Mandate Mitt Romney:

The front-runner in the Republican stakes now? Here’s a man who doesn’t know who he is.

Spot-on, Mam…although, I nearly choked just a moment ago.

That was quoted in an article by Deroy Murdock.

Tip of the fedora to Mike, over at Cold Fury, who comments:

Oh, it’s easy enough to figure out. He’s a professional politician who will do or say anything whatsoever to satisfy his lust for power. A vote for him is a vote for…him, and absolutely nothing else….

Dead solid perfect, MH.

When are Republicans going to wake up and smell the decaffeinated coffee? This guy must suffer from horrible back pain – he has twisted himself like a pretzel so many time when it come to the positions he takes. Mandate Mitt’s like what they say about the weather in New England: if you don’t like it, wait a minute. But, hey, Mitt is ambitious…and Mitt is an honorable man.

If you would never have said that Harry was talking about Mitt, I would have assumed that Harry was talking Harry. But upon further reflection, it is a fitting quote about Mitt regardless of who said it.
