Bob’s Musings: A Hard Rain’s Gonna Fall

02 March 2011 @ 19:27

Bob's Muse

Over at Little Miss Attila’s place, I just watched the video of Wisconsin GOP State Senator Glenn Grothman being hounded, verbally assaulted, and physically cornered by the Leftist mob at the State Capital Building [the Memeorandum thread is here].  It’s twelve minutes long, but it is worth watching in full so that you can absorb the fury of the mob.  I would urge you to do so.  Listen closely to what the members of the rabble have to say, watch the contortions of hate and loathing on their faces, and you will see the true face of Leftism.  Some of it is the product of mindless cretins; some of it is the employment of the calculated tactics of Leftist thugs schooled in the ways of Revolution.  Both have sprung from the poisonous tree of Nihilism like so many twisted and diseased branches.

-The Leftist Elite has called for a rising of their followers: The Committed, Fellow Travellers, Useful Idiots, Dupes.  Wisconsin is merely the first bursting forth of the this next stage of their Revolution.  Up until now, the Left has been content to wage a stealth war against The United States.  With the election of Barack Hussein Obama and majorities in both houses of the Congress two years ago, those leading the Revolution felt liberated enough to begin to speak openly of their goals and desires.  Now, with the setbacks the Left has recently suffered and fearing more are on the way [that their Revolution is in jeopardy], the Leftist Elites have decided to take their Revolution to the next stage: open confrontation.  When you implement this phase, there is always the danger that violence perpetrated by individual members or small groups of your mobs will break out.  This has happened, but the Left has been aided in covering up these crimes by those members of the Mainstream Media who are not part of the Elite Class, but are Dupes and Useful Idiots, by sympathetic policemen who are too stupid to realize the threat the Left poses to Law And Order, and by politicians, not part of the Elite, who think this is all part of the game of politics because they are imbeciles.*  As the violence escalates – and it will because it’s inevitable in Revolutions – will the Useful Idiots, the Dupes, the stupid, and the imbeciles wake up?  I hope for the best, but expect the worst.  What I do know is, if the Revolution isn’t crushed soon, there will be blood and a hard rain’s gonna fall.  Could this be one explanation?

-Some are calling Wisconsin Democratic State Representative Brett Hulsey a hero for emerging out of the mob he was a part of to rescue Senator Grothman and calm down the crowd.  While I commend Mr. Hulsey for doing the right thing, he is no hero.  He is one of those who has encouraged the mob to continue their protest, therefore, he deserves part of the blame for what happened.  Therefore, he did not do anything heroic.  He was merely preventing the mess he helped make from getting messier.  That is not heroic.

-Michelle Malkin’s column today is a great primer on the moral corruption that infects the teacher’s unions of America.  She is so right when she states:

The goals of the teachers union machine are not academic excellence, professional development and fairness. As former NEA official John Lloyd explained it: “You cannot possibly understand NEA without understanding Saul Alinsky. If you want to understand NEA, go to the library and get ‘Rules for Radicals.’”

The goals are student indoctrination, social upheaval and perpetual agitation in pursuit of bigger government and spending without restraint. No wonder the signature “solidarity” color of the teachers union protests this month is red.

And soon the streets of America may run red.  Could this be one explanation?

-For more on the situation in Wisconsin and the Revolution across the fruited plain, I highly recommend checking out these posts by some of my Friends In The Ether [in no particular order]: DaTechguy, Dan Collins, The Lonely Conservative, Michelle Malkin, Moe LaneLittle Miss Attila, Dave C, Matt [Conservative Hideout], Steve Burri, Lance Burri, Chris Wysocki, the DarcPrynce, Mike [That Mr. G Guy], Stogie, William Teach, The Rio Norte Line, TL Davis, and Roxeanne de Luca takes on teacher’s unions here and here.

* Fortunately for us, the loyal and patriotic Americans,
technology has made it possible for the Truth to emerge,
and we are able to view and pass around amongst
ourselves the videos, audio, texts, and pictures that
document what is really going on.  People like DaTechguy
are willing to go out and record the Reality that the Left
seeks to deny us and I for one am very thankful that they do.

More and more of the connections between the Unions, self identified Socialists and Communists, and the Social Democratic Party the longer this battle drags on. Oddly enough a lot of Americans aren’t paying attention at all. Maybe it’s over saturation. It’s my belief that these pro Bolshevik labor protests are going to continue in greater and lessor intensities for the next two years. Every state in the country with Public Employee Unions is going to have to get something back from these unions. Even Cities and States with Dem administrations will have to cut costs and they can’t do it without getting something from the unions or layoffs if not both. If the leftists from the DNC, OFA, the unions etc. are going to the streets every time there’s a dispute in another city this will be nonstop. Sooner or later someone will do something stupid. I look forward to the Democratic National Convention in Non-Union Charlotte NC especially after eighteen months of whats going on now.

They have not bothered to hide their intentions. Unfortunately, too many have not figured out what is happening. Great post Bob. Sadly, I have to agree with the title.

Emmanual’s words of “never let a good crisis go to waste” may be applicable. Hate to be snarky, but I wonder if all this agitation is meant to trigger widespread violence so there’s an excuse to impose martial law. Food for thought….

    Thank you for the links!

I got excoriated for writing those – apparently, when I merely pointed out that non-teachers also work more than 40 hours in a week, I may as well have spit on Gandhi’s grave. For suggesting that every single thing that teachers do to point out that they have it bad is shared by the private sector? The bile was amazing. 🙂

    @ Roxeanne de Luca

Do you have to go to India to do that? Oh, I know, get gigi to do it by proxy.

I think that “gg” has gone under different names, because a “Freyja” at The Other McCain said something nasty and gg-like to me the other day.
