Back when the girl next door really was the girl next door and not a bleached blond clone.

All of the pics are amazing, but the 5th one down…..Good Lord. That will be forever burned into a very discrete, yet accessable corner of my mind forever. Holy tan lines…….For a second, I forgot how doomed our country is under Obama.

Spot-on, gentlemen. I’ll just ask: what a great set of gams!

This lovely angel was born in Memphis, TN as Brenda Gail Stone. She was a cheerleader and homecoming queen…and the daughter of a Baptist deacon. She adopted the name of Gail Stanton to avoid embarrassing her family. She was as beautiful on the inside as she was here and devoted most of her free time to charities to prevent cruelty to animals.

I fell in love with her as a 14 year old boy and have always carried her image in my mind as the ideal of female perfection. Both my first wife and my current wife bear a remarkable resemblance to her. One look and I just melt…

Sadly, I just learned that she died at age 42 due to complications of a blocked colon in 1996.

I still like to go to the park and sit in the cool breeze, close my eyes and think of her. Now I whisper a little prayer for her kind soul.

I lived across the street from her when she died. She was just as beautiful in 1996 as she was in those pictures. Such a sweet soul.
