A Fleeting Glance Into The Progressive Soul

10 November 2010 @ 17:53

Michael Bloomberg, Mayor of New York, Full-Time Beautiful Person, aka: Mayor Bozoberg, aka: Massa Bloomsy, aka: New York Naggie, aka: Michael Bloomingidiot, has been pontificating again and moving forward with his War Against Salt [how brave!].

-Regarding the latter, the Reaganite Republican has the details here [complete with a lovely little Photoshop he devised] on anti-Saltmitic Mayor Naggie’s spending of $370,000 taxpayer dollars on an anti-salt campaign which targets soup.  I like the name RR has come up with for the campaign: Operation Chicken Noodle.

-Regarding the former, here’s part of what he said in Red China recently [tip of the fedora to Weasel Zippers]:

“If you look at the U.S., you look at who we’re electing to Congress, to the Senate — they can’t read. I’ll bet you a bunch of these people don’t have passports. We’re about to start a trade war with China if we’re not careful here, only because nobody knows where China is. Nobody knows what China is.”

There, in several sentences, is what the Elite Establishment thinks of the vast majority of Americans.

Remember this, especially whenever you have a weak moment and think there is the possibility of honest compromise with the Left.

Bloomsy gave us a fleeting glimpse into the Progressive Soul.

    Progressives have souls? You’re sure?

Ran: It’s just a theory right now.

Some people (far too many) truly want a daddy figure to run things for them. New York is full of them. He’d get his ass kicked here in Colorado, outside of Denver, anyway…

I’m with Ran / Si Vis Pacem, there seems to be no evidence that proggies have souls.

Ironicly, his statement was made in China, a country where virtually nobody is allowed to have a passport. A situation I’m sure he approves of.

Silverfiddle: Can’t you folks out there think of a way to trick him into going? Pretty please!

    Matt: What about Joe Liberman?

Erich: I have no doubt you are correct in your assumption.

Great post Bob, and thanks for the nod of approval

    Bloomberg is one odd duck
