BULLETIN: Prof. Donald Douglas In Disagreement With Led Zeppelin

06 November 2010 @ 17:30

DATELINE: LAND OF THE LOST, CALIFORNIA: Professor Donald ‘Restraining Order’ Douglas, owner and operator of the notoriously infamous, racist, gynophobic blog, American Power, has come out against rock band Led Zeppelin’s advice to get ‘Going To California’.  Douglas, a full-time professor of Left Coast State and part-time, has long been known as an anti-Leftist Establishment agitator, but this is the first time he has publicly disagreed with the ultimate representatives of anti-Establishment angst, Led Zeppelin, believed by many to be the greatest Rock And Roll band that ever existed.  In 1971, and many times since, the band has said:

Spent my days with a woman unkind,
Smoked my stuff and drank all my wine.
Made up my mind to make a new start,
Going To California with an aching in my heart.

Someone told me there’s a girl out there
With love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.
Took my chances on a big jet plane,
Never let them tell you that they’re all the same

In a statement posted on his notoriously homophobic and pooraphobic blog yesterday, Douglas wrote:

Leaving California?

For the first time in my life I’m feeling I would if I could.

It’s not the first time I’ve entertained the idea of living somewhere else in the country. Washington State is attractive — I love the Pacific Northwest’s natural beauty — but too progressive, so it’s not a serious idea. But I’m thinking the Mountain West, perhaps Colorado. Of course it’s not possible for me to relocate anywhere at this point in my life. My career will keep me tied down teaching in Long Beach, and my wife’s successful in South Orange County retail management (and we have our boys, who are settled). But when I told my wife today that a lot of conservatives are asking why folks on the right still live here, she thought it was a good question. Maybe ten years from now my wife and I will be able to pull up stakes and cut loose with some “Going Mobile.” This could all be a flight of fancy, to be sure. But seeing the data on the changing California electorate I got the feeling that demographic change is making the state permanently Democrat-Socialist, and I can’t dig on that.

When asked to comment on what Douglas had written, Ang Ry-Douche of The Daily Kos replied:

Who the [expletive deleted] is Donald Douglas?

Led Zeppelin spokesperson, Ian Bloke-Bullocks commented:

Oh, man, I’m too blown away to talk now, mate.

When reached for comment, Douglas’s close friend, white supremacist Robert Stacy McCain, commented:

Hit the tip jar.

In related news: noted Leftist, Adolf Hitler has been caught on video by a reporter reacting to the Republicans taking over of the House Of Representatives and, for some reason, the reporter has decided to let Donald Douglas have the exclusive posting rights to it on his notoriously Germanophobic blog.

Good news for the esteemed Douglas & family! Now that Moonbeam Jerry is in charge in California, he and his wife won’t have those darn pesky “jobs” holding them in place for much longer.

Donald: Thank you, Prof. I was rushed for time, otherwise I would have posted some Rule 5 in honor of you.

Our family left CA in 1983 for WA because CA was anti-children. Narcissistic, self-centered. It’s not the Mexicans who are bringing down CA, it’s the super-rich with their drugs and wines, including, sorry to say, Republicans.
