Fear And Loathing 2010: Don’t Feel So Alone, Got The Radio On, Like The Roadrunner

18 October 2010 @ 19:29

For my previous report on the Adventures Of Stacy And Pete On The Road To Perdition: The Fear And Loathing Tour 2010, please click here.

-Our TEA Party version of Martin & Lewis were invited by The Lonely Conservative and her husband to stay at their place last night.

-Stacy filed a report from there late last night about the three of the races NY-22, NY-24, and NY-25.

-DTG filed a report on the day’s activities as well, with pictures.  Check out the one of the shape of NY-22: it’s gerrymandering gone wild.

-The Lonely Conservative filed a very informative report [with pictures] on the Ann Marie Buerkle Meet And Greet they attended last night.  A highlight:

I’ve told you before and I’ll tell you again, Ann Marie’s campaign is a true grass roots campaign. Which makes the smears coming from Maffei’s camp all the more disgusting. Most of Ann Marie’s campaign volunteers and supporters were never before involved in politics. These are every day folks who finally decided it was time to get involved, and they saw something in Ann Marie that they haven’t seen from other politicians. She gets it. She cares. She understands that this could be our last chance to get things right. That’s the reason so many people have disrupted their busy lives to work to get this good woman elected. Will they hesitate to get involved again if Dan Maffei succeed with his smear tactics?

-Pete posted some videos from last night here and here.

-Early this morning Stacy filed a report over at The American Spectator.  He’s obviously been cheered by what he has seen and heard [a supplementary report with pictures may be found here (I must say, TLC is another lovely conservative gal — we’ve cornered the market on them obviously)]:

Whether motivated by enthusiasm for Republicans or anger at Democratic incumbents, voters in western New York are likely to surprise some pollsters two weeks from now. While liberals like Frank Rich fret over voter “rage” in this Tea Party year, the actual reaction to a hard-fought GOP victory Nov. 2 will probably be more like the one Buerkle described to her supporters Sunday: “I promise you, we will have one great party.”

From Ann Marie Buerkle’s lips, to God’s ears.

-She held a press conference today to answer some of the lies Dan Maffei has been spreading about her.  Stacy and Pete both reported on it here, herehere.

-TLC filed this very interesting report on a rather odd habit Mr. Maffei has.

-Pete has some pictures of TLC’s Blogging Command Center.

Thank you for the links, Mr. Belvedere. It certainly was an adventure. And I meant what I said about Ann Marie Buerkle!

Ha! Ha! Yesterday was such a weird day. Came downstairs to RSM on the couch and DTG in the dining room. DTG was showing my 6 year old clips of Dr. Who on the computer and MSNBC was on the television. I left for work and that’s when the day really got weird. (Nothing to do with fear and loathing 2010.) Thought the strangeness would end after dinner and I watched the NY governor debate and decided to call it a day.

TLC: That’s what you get for hosting a VRWC Sleepover.
