In Heaven There Is No Fisk…

08 September 2010 @ 17:26

…that’s why we do it here.

While there’s nothing like a good Fisk in the morning, a little Fisk for Happy Hour always hits the spot.

Fortunately for us, the Kapellmeister of the Alle Ost Dance Band, Lancelot Link Burri has a frothy Fisking on tap of Paul ‘Bitter’ Krugman.  A highlight:

[Krugman] writes:

Some bleary-eyed thoughts from Japan on the reported administration proposal for $50 billion in new spending:

1. It’s a good idea

2. It’s much too small

3. It won’t pass anyway — which makes you wonder why the administration didn’t propose a bigger plan, so as to at least make the point that the other party is standing in the way of much needed repair to our roads, ports, sewers, and more– not to mention creating jobs. Once again, they’re striking right at the capillaries.

Bleary-eyed, indeed. My less-bleary thought: why does Krugman want Obama to fail? Why does he want the hopefully tsunami-like Republican victory this November* to be more like a killer asteroid than a big wave?

Very flavor-filled; not too heavy, but not too lite — an all-around satisfying libation.

If you’ve got the time, Lance has the Fisk®, so why not head on over to his joint and check out the rest of the Fiskings on tap.

You are a genius Bob- a combination of Mark Twain, Winston Churchill, William F Buckley… and maybe a little Foster Brooks thrown-in for good measure lol

RR: Thank you [truth be told, I prefer Dean Martin, but old FB is just fine].
