The Spot-On Quote Of The Day…

23 August 2010 @ 09:45

…is awarded to Neo Victorian for this astute observation of the unknown ingredient in the mystery meat named Barack Hussein Obama [nee’ Soetoro]:

I don’t think the President is some kind of CIA plant, a Muslim or an alien from another galaxy. But for the first time in American history we have a President that we have never seen the inside of, never seen whatever core of bedrock, unalterable, unshakable values he would be willing to kill or die for. We wonder if he has any. It’s something we deserved to know before he took office. Perhaps the best we can do now is minimize the effects of the Hollow Man and try to hold on with minimal damage until 2012.

Spot-on [although I want to reserve judgement on the ‘alien from another galaxy’ option].

Some may argue that there’s not much there there and I would agree, but he does have a soul so there are values that are driving him, flaccid though they may be.

Ecce Homo Obscurus.

I judge a man by what he does. Based on what he does, his “soul” believes in taking the hard earned money from those who deserve it and redistributing it to those who don’t, in order for Democrats to get and stay elected. Anything else is just icing on the cake.

John: To rephrase Churchill, ‘He is a riddle, wrapped in sh-t, inside an enema’.

I am deeply, deeply honored to be in the Spot-On Quote Of The Day. I’d like to thank the Academy…oh, to hell with the Academy, I’d like to thank John Doe for the opportunity, and Bob Belvedere for TCOTS, one of my daily reads.
