I think I’ve written here before that reports and analysis of the economy make my eyes glaze over.  Trouble is, one has to keep up with what’s going on in order to be able to prepare for the good and bad financial things that are going to happen.  Thankfully, there are a few people out there who can explain the state of the economy without my eyelids feeling like they weigh a hundred pounds each.

Stacy McCain is one of those fellows and his latest posting, while full of gloom and doom, is must reading.  Can you say ‘Double-Dip Recession’?

Ugh…..thank God the price of Maker’s Mark has stayed steady.

    This is what centrally-planned statism looks like. Thank you Obama for giving us an honest dose. Hopefully we can turn it around in a few months…
