Adventures! In! Spamland! [Updated Below]

11 August 2010 @ 10:21

Not only do I read each and every comment you all leave here at TCOTS, but I enjoy reading the spam messages I get before I send them into the  black hole of the Trash Bin [aka: Keith Oberwoman’s pie-hole].  Most are just the same old, same old.  But, occasionally, one proves to be somewhat interesting and unintentionally humorous.  The following message I just received is one such:

Web hosting is a server in regard to serving and maintaining files with a view one or more web sites.

Sober-sided more prominent than the computer space is a safe medium in behalf of the files and a loose linking to the Internet.

I’ve heard of [and known] loose women, but not ‘loose linking’ — I’m game.

There are various another types of web hosts, exercise power panels, operating systems, and options.

I gotta get me one of them ‘exercise power panels’.

A web emcee should usually be handy in case you need assistance. At the least they should drink a expropriate desk and faq quarter in cause you beget questions. If thinkable a phone several is also helpful. They should also take precautions a lecherous server so your website is instantly visible and not stupid to view. In uniting they should equip no or extremely young downtime. This is when your website is not manifest at all. In the long run your files should be in a safeguard environment. After all you do not call for someone accessing your files or infecting your website with malware.

‘Lecherous server’, ‘extremely young downtime’, ‘your files should be in a safeguard environment’, and ‘you do not call for someone accessing your files or infecting your website with malware’: sounds like code for something nefarious involving Miley Cyrus-aged girls.

UPDATE at 1649…

My Friend In The Ether, Ferdinand Bardamu, Ringmaster of In Mala Fide, tops me with a very entertaining bit of spam that he received [I don’t mind — he’s a good egg and one of the more interesting philosophers in Le Blogospheré]
