Don’t Fire Me Because I’m Beautiful [Updated With More Pictures]

03 June 2010 @ 11:19

That’s basically what Debrahlee Lorenzana is suing Citibank for.  Being the concerned investigative reporter he is, Stacy McCain is all over this story [and probably would be all over Miss Lorenzana if Mrs. Other McCain weren’t packing some serious heat]:

How unfortunate that Ms. Lorenzana felt compelled to file a lawsuit, which has the effect of criminalizing the truth.

Of course, her bosses were right: She is too hot to be a banker.

I, of course, have no official opinion on this matter because, as I’ve stated here many, many times before: I report, you decide — that’s the TCOTS way.  Therefore…

UPDATE at 1645…

In the Comments Section, Roxeanne de Luca has a solution that will save the courts a lot of valuable time and money:

Sensible solution: fire the “men” who complain about working alongside an attractive woman; replace them with red-blooded men who know when to just STFU and admire the view.

But, if that happened at enough companies, what would the metrosexuals do?…

…Oh…okay.

She was likely fired because she refused her bosses DEPOSITS and forced them to WITHDRAW. Perhaps her BOTTOM line was fine (it appears as much) but if she doesn’t want to help management with their HARD money portfolio, then she gotta go…

And you’re correct Bob (and RSM): She’s too hot to be a banker. I’m guessing she will soon have many career opportunities shortly.

Stacy believes she would make a great blog intern. I’d like to hire her to handle my ‘affairs’ as a sort of Girl Friday…Girl Saturday, Girl Sunday, Girl Monday…………….

The credit union I go to had a teller who was prettier than her.. Sadly, she works at another branch that is way out of my way.. At least it use to be..

Anyway, she always had a smile on her face and very cheerful. Made the dull transactions at the bank(credit union, whatever) so much more enjoyable.

Not sure what the deal is with the bank manager and Debrahlee is.
