Stacy McCain: Renaissance Man

27 May 2010 @ 20:13

Not only is he a reporter, analyst, philosopher, apologist for The Lost Cause, raaaaacist, humorist, inventor of Rule 5, and top candidate to be the first Gentile President of Israel [whew!], but we now find out that Stacy McCain is also a multi-linguist [perhaps of some cunning].

It seems he can understand the very tough-to-translate language, Obamonics.

Today, in his press conference, Barack The Unready said:

Those who think that we were either slow in our responses or lacked urgency don’t know the facts. This has been our highest priority since this crisis occurred. We understood from day one the potential enormity of this crisis and acted accordingly.

Translation by Stacy DaVinci-McCain:

Shut up, you stupid morons! Can’t you see that you’ve got an Expert Genius running the country now? You should be grateful.

He’s good for a cracker.

That is perfect. I had a little dust up in the comments of Pundit and Pundette over the question of an adequate Federal Response, and besides being told that President Bush did no better, a dead give away that the guy was a hack, he tried to make the argument that the Obama team was doing everything necessary. In reality, Obama sat on this and let it brew, then looked to demonize BP as a segway into his latest expansion of federal powers, this time to further regulate the oil industry. Sadly, the sources he cited all complained that the president was moving too slow. Curious, and made for a short argument.

I’d have to say that the translations was among the best available. Quite good for a cracker.

You mean running a country isn’t the same as running a campaign?
