Doctor Death Panel And His Evil Assistant Fritz

14 May 2010 @ 10:44

Some people are suffused with an abiding love for their fellow-men that is true and God-inspired; some are suffused with a deep concern for the animals of the Earth.  Then there are others who love ideas more than any of the living and breathing creatures that inhabit this small, spinning piece of solar driftwood.

In the first two categories you find normal, sane people.

In the latter one, you find the radical Leftists.

Two weeks and a day ago I introduced you to Donald Berwick, the doctor nominated by Barack Hussein Obama to run the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.  I learned about him from that great teacher in the VRWC school, Pat Austin, who has done a fine bit of research into this Doctor’s thinking.  If you did not read my previous posting, I would ask that you glance at it before preceeding on with this one.  It will provide the necessary background to understand why I ended-up labeling him: Doctor Death Panel.

In a posting yesterday over at And So It Goes In Shreveport, Pat updates us on Dr. DP.  She comments:

And so, while everyone is worried about Elena Kagan’s total lack of a paper trail or whether or not she’s gay, Dr. Death Panel swoops in under the radar….

I suspect that’s the idea.  And, as Pat points out, the MSM is once again colluding with the regime to ignore the whole situation because they know how Americans would rise-up in anger at the malevolent ideas this Doctor holds.

In her posting, she quotes from and links to a damn fine article by Philip Klein, over at The American Spectator, that provides some good background on Berwick and the potential fight over his nomination in the Congress.  I wouldn’t trust the GOP to do the right thing and fight this tooth and nail, so, if your Senators are Republicans, please do contact them and let them know that this a battle worth fighting with every weapon at their disposal.  As Mr. Klein writes:

While Berwick would not have the authority to impose a British health care system on the United States in one fell swoop, as head of CMS, he would be running both Medicare and Medicaid. Given that the two programs alone account for more than one out of every three dollars spent on health care in America (all government programs combined account for 47 percent), private players tend to follow CMS’s lead. Berwick himself has made this point.

“(G)overnment is an extraordinarily important player in the American health care scene, and it has inescapable duties with respect to improvement of care, or we’re not going to get improved care,” he said in a January 2005 interview with Health Affairs. “Government remains a major purchaser.… So as CMS goes and as Medicaid goes, so goes the system.”

Dr. Death Panel, like all proper doctors of wickedness, has an evil assistant at his side: Dr. Ezekiel ‘Fritz’ Emanuel, brother of Rahmbo, who has been an official advisor to the Anti-President since he took power last year.

Over at Conservative Hideout, in a very well-researched piece [big tip of the fedora to The Classic Liberal], Matt chronicles the thinking of this Team Of Termination and provides very telling examples of Fritz’s perverse thinking.  Three highlights:

…The death of a 20-year-old woman is intuitively worse than that of a 2-month-old girl, even though the baby has had less life. The 20-year-old has a much more developed personality than the infant, and has drawn upon the investment of others to begin as-yet-unfulfilled projects…. Adolescents have received substantial substantial education and parental care, investments that will be wasted without a complete life. Infants, by contrast, have not yet received these investments…. It is terrible when an infant dies, but worse, most people think, when a three-year-old child dies, and worse still when an adolescent does.

And…

Ultimately, the complete lives system does not create ‘classes of Untermenschen whose lives and well being are deemed not worth spending money on,’ but rather empowers us to decide fairly whom to save when genuine scarcity makes saving everyone impossible.

Finally…

When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged between roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get chances that are attenuated”

The words of Berwick and Emanuel are the product of mutated minds.  These are the words of two men in the thrall of ideas who don’t give a damn about the people affected by them.  The words of Berwick and Emanuel betray a Totalitarian Collectivist mindset.  They must not be allowed to wield any power over us.  They must not be permitted to impose their Mengele-like policies on America for they are The Angels Of Death.

To my Friends In The Ether: Please, get the word out.

The latest issue of MCFL’s News discussed the push for euthanasia in Massachusetts. Horrible stuff to read about.

Now, you claimed that my site was back up. Every time I check, it’s down. Do let me know if the guest-blogger invite is still open.

Thanks for the link, as well as the add. I’ll put you on my blogroll as well. It seems that Obama keeps appointing folks with similar ideas. It’s obviously NOT a coincidence.
