I Love How You Fisk Me

27 January 2010 @ 11:03

Ahhhhhh….the cool and refreshing feeling of a good Fisking….

Though he hasn’t done one for a while, Stacy McCain Fisks David Chauncey Gardiner Brooks with a verve like he’s just mounted his childhood bicycle.  It’s a short romp, but, within the brevity, he packs the power and wit of one of his typically lengthy ones.  A highlight:

The worthless douchebag is back to slagging “populists” again:

[V]oters aren’t as stupid as the populists imagine.

People who think voters are stupid? Those are elitists like you, Brooks, you despicable swine. As author of “National Greatness” and the gutless vermin who called Sarah Palin a “fatal cancer to the Republican Party,” you are quite clearly the problem and not the solution.

Damn straight.

Please do take the time to click here and read the whole thing.

If his brief brief, wonderful though it is, does still not slake your Fisking thirst, check out Comment #21 by Roxeanne de Luca.  She does a damn fine job of putting that crease-caressing, nimrod squish in his place.  A highlight:

How on earth is this a good column or anything but more of David Brook’s mindless drivel?

…it’s mind-boggling to try to read Brooks.

Miss de Luca hails from the site Haemet, and a visit there will be well-worth your time.
