Great song….but you got some of the lyrics wrong.
At the end of the 5th stanza, you have:
“So you say your prayers and you thank the lord
For that peace maker
And the joy”
He doesn’t say “and the joy.” He says “in the dresser drawer.”
Worst. Most stupid. Right-wing crap. Ever.
