Preparing The Ground For Confiscation?

20 January 2013 @ 23:34

It sure as Hell seems that the national government is doing just that…

From John Fund, we learn [tip of the fedora to Paco]:

The world is beset by terrorists — witness the American hostages taken in Algeria this week — but portions of our federal government continue to obsess about alleged home-grown threats from the “far right.”

The Combating Terrorism Center, which is based at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, has issued a new report on its website entitled

“Challengers from the Sidelines: Understanding America’s Violent Far-Right.”

Normally, the center’s activities are focused on al-Qaeda and other violent Islamic groups seeking to topple governments around the world. But the latest report looks inside America itself, and if the center is to be judged by the quality of its analysis in this report, it might be wise for all of us to be skeptical of its other work. The Center’s report lumps together entirely legitimate tea-party-style activists with three groups it says represent “a racist/white supremacy movement, an anti-federalist movement and a fundamentalist movement.” Together all these forces are said to have engaged in 350 “attacks initiated by far-right groups/individuals” in 2011, although the report never specifies what makes an attack a “far right” action.

The report’s author is Arie Perliger, who directs the Center’s terrorism studies and teaches social sciences at West Point. I can only imagine what his classes are like as his report manages to lump together every known liberal stereotype about conservatives between its covers.

No one doubts the existence of racist and hate-filled groups that require monitoring. But both the DHS and West Point reports read as if they were laying the groundwork for a rhetorical attack on mainstream conservatism of the sort that President Clinton launched in the wake of the Oklahoma City bombing of 1995, when he blamed talk radio for stirring up anti-government passions. No one should be surprised if supporters of new gun-control measures begin justifying them by referring to the West Point report.

Let us never forget that the Administration no longer has to worry about getting re-elected.  Let us never forget that the Senate is in the hands of the Committed Left.  Let is never forget that the Left In America knows that the Republican Leadership in the House are a bunch of castrated Quislings who will cave-in to pressure if it is applied.

We can no longer take comfort in what used to be the truth in America that ‘it can’t happen here’ — it can and it is.*

The Left In America believes that this is THE MOMENT, this is the time for them to act to speed along their Revolution, their fundamental transformation of The United States from a constitutional republic to a Socialist regime.

We, the True Americans, have either got to join or die.

For the most part, the stuff on extremist groups is interesting, but, the right in this country rejects these guys as being on the same side as any other tyrant. Red or Brown, it’s all the same. Conservative/Libertarian spectrum are most definitely not Nazi or an of those affiliated groups.

However, it relies heavily on the overtly political ADL and SPLC as sources. Most of this is freshman level research. I have to wonder how much of how they classify things is from what would have once been lone wackos who join groups these days because it’s easier to find a fringe organization he can agree with.

Don’t forget the recent viral video of the cadet releasing the mouse.
If that officer is that upset with a mouse dying………………………………….

Notice the attack on the antifederalists? It was the antifederalists that refused to support the Constitution without a bill of rights, which of course includes the 2nd ammendment. Now we have a West Point center drivel master attacking the antifederalists. The bastard needs to be tried for treason and put against the wall. None of these military people emoting over “civilians shouldn’t have assault rifles” have any business being employed by the government as they have violated their oath. That includes the president as CIC.
