Silent Sedition

03 December 2012 @ 14:25

Quoting from a post by Rebekah Rast [his link to it doesn't work and I can't find her post], Jeff Goldstein reports that an environmental group is suing the EPA.

From her post:

Apparently, gas isn’t expensive enough yet-at least for one environmental interest group that is now suing the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to force the creation of Cap-and-Trade. The Institute for Policy Integrity at the New York University School of Law last week told EPA to expect the lawsuit.

If you expect the EPA to fight this, think again: the two sides are in collusion, using a maneuver the Left created.

As Jeff explains:

I believe a year or two back I mentioned the collusion between environmental groups and the EPA, whereby the environmentalist group sues the EPA, and the EPA, rather than go to court (is the ostensible rationale), “settles” with the plaintiff — thereby creating new environmental policy while circumventing Congress and keeping their hands clean from accusation of bureaucratic edict. This is by design, and the suits themselves merely ruses for the settlements that follow.

Could This Be One Explanation?

So the IPI and the EPA [an agency of the Executive Branch] are engaged in a conspiracy against The Constitution. There is no other way to describe this action. They are seeking to undermine and usurp the Legislative Branch’s constitutional powers in such matters. Obviously, there is a third member of this cabal — members of the Judicial Branch — who the other two are counting on to ‘do the right thing’.

This is an insurrectionary action. It is Treason.

And you know the EPA is not the only agency in the Executive Branch that is engaging is this patently seditious behavior.

Is anybody there?
Does anybody care?

If no-one points out it’s illegal to these people, it isn’t illegal.

People quit telling those idiots that what they want is illegal because they ignore it. Like Garrison and his abolitionist minions, they are answering to a higher calling and the law doesn’t matter to such people.

Bob, I hope your making plans to get your body south when the country breaks up. I don’t see anything else in the cards at this point.

Mrs. B. is insisting on the mountains of New Hampshire at the moment.

At the risk of being redundant ( I must because no one listens) but it isn’t as if we didn’t already know that we needed to abolish the EPA.

The missus’ wants not withstanding you gotta go south or well west New Hampshire is being annexed by Massachusetts we speak.

I know and I will continue to try and convince her, but she keeps talking about ‘making a last stand’ there.

Quite a few of us care but we’re at a loss to know what else to do. The democratic process isn’t working for us. Our votes get cancelled out by idiots and others with no stake in the outcome. Many of our elected officials in leadership positions don’t listen to “we the people”. When good people do get elected or appointed, the Establishment marginalizes them and the bureaucratic system itself fights back tenaciously. The judicial branch more and more bases their rulings on individual whims and not the law. Finally, the executive branch simply ignores inconvenient laws or customs and brushes aside any resistance using the power of the state. So when all the avenues for making changes are closed off, then what?

Sorry to sound so negative, Bob but I don’t see how we get our country back from the combination of the small minority who are determined to destroy it and the much larger part of the population that just doesn’t seem to care.

I know you’re a history fan too and I find some comfort in knowing that both history and the Christian religion teach that a society built on lies and violence cannot endure. In the end, Truth matters, whether the left likes it or not.
