Guiltless Pleasures…Or Are They, Bwah-Ha-Ha-Ha-Ha…
With all this talk of Satan versus God and Good versus Evil this past week, it seems rather appropriate to showcase the following songs…
-Follow me now and you will not regret…
-The soul I took from you was not even missed…
-Say you don’t know me, you’ll burn…
-Pleased to meet you…
-‘Who is Keyser Soze? He is supposed to be Turkish. Some say his father was German. Nobody believed he was real. Nobody ever saw him or knew anybody that ever worked directly for him, but to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew. That was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist. And like that, poof. He’s gone.’
—Verbal, The Usual Suspects

Thanks for the Sabbath. It has been a while since I have listened to their music, and it is good to remember that they were actually a pretty talented band.
I went to see Leslie West and Mountain perform in concert and Black Sabbath opened for them. In the grand concourse Black Sabbath had a stand set up with T-Shirts and their first album, cover pictured at top of post. Anyway, It was near the end of the night and the smoke was getting to me so I stepped out into the concourse to get some air. I was looking at the Black Sabbath stuff but didn’t have enough cash to buy the album when Ozzy comes walking up to ask the attendant how they did for the night and to pack up so the attendant guy asks me “Do you want anything before I pack up?” and I say ” I’d like an album but I only have five bucks” the attendant guy says”Well they’re ten so scat.” Ozzy, who was walking away, turns around and yells at the guy “Take his fucking five bucks and give him the album.” he signed it too. nice guy.
Morticia’s Burn Witch Burn would have fit in with this list as well.
