ITEM: The Black Male Tries Blackmail
Barack Hussein Obama was interviewed by CBS News today. Corbett Daly reporting, we learn:
President Obama on Tuesday said he cannot guarantee that retirees will receive their Social Security checks August 3 if Democrats and Republicans in Washington do not reach an agreement on reducing the deficit in the coming weeks.
“I cannot guarantee that those checks go out on August 3rd if we haven’t resolved this issue. Because there may simply not be the money in the coffers to do it,” Mr. Obama said in an interview with CBS Evening News anchor Scott Pelley, according to excerpts released by CBS News.
As it is up to the President who would receive payments, this is pure Moral Blackmail — if it is not legal blackmail*. He is demanding a payment [the raising of taxes] or he will punish the elderly, veterans, and disabled by depriving them of the monies they live on. He is using the power of his Constitutional office to threaten and coerce. This is Misfeasance* — with Malice Aforethought*.

Well, it is time to resurrect it again to commemorate Mitch McConnell’s latest maneuver that would give President Obama new power to automatically increase the federal debt limit. It’s a convoluted way of abandoning the fight for fiscal sanity altogether and leaving the mess in the Democrats’ enhanced control.
This proposal by McConnell is a cave-in, pure and simple. The pathetic thing is, Granny Mitch thinks this is a sly political move that will make Obama and the Democrats look bad. You sad, old man: Obama will raise the debt limit and claim that he did it to save the elderly, veterans, the disabled, and whatever other interest group he can think of [Asian lesbians with webbed feet and halitosis?]. And the MSM will buy and disseminate his BS willingly, like the verbally fellating Obama-whores they are.

It’s an extension of the Bankers v. Pitchforks strategy he tried in April of ’09… straight-up Chicago thug politics. Thing is, he hasn’t the political capital remaining to try such a manoeuvre because even during a shut-down there is plenty of streaming tax revenue to cover both bond payments and SS, etc. He’d have to force it, a fact that would backfire on him badly. He no longer enjoys blanket coverage, because the MSM is not all media. There is nothing he could load into the Teleprompter to save his weenie tuchus on this one.

I find it strange that a Democratic president would suggest that SS recipents would not get their checks. After all, it was a Democratic president who started SS checks. Which of course was Roosevelt.
Anyone wonder why retired congresspersons were not threatened about losing their checks? It seems there is a strange smell coming from Washington these days.
