The Spot-On Quote Of The Day…
…goes to Roxeanne de Luca for her response to the soccer moms out there who think that getting tough with illegal immigration is harsh and nasty:
Soccer moms give educated, suburban women a bad name.
The problem with them, IMHO, is that they’ve been trained to think emotionally and they are incredibly sheltered. The worst thing that they could imagine happening to them is getting a B on an English paper at Vassar, and the worst thing they could imagine being is unpopular. They cannot comprehend the idea that illegal aliens – even hard-working, honest ones – will bring drugs, gangs, lawlessness, and poverty across the border and into their lives.
Reality will not kick in with these chicks until one of their cute blonde daughters gets killed in the crossfire of a drug deal gone wrong between the landscaper and the painter.
Spot-on.
Maggie Thatcher said: ‘The facts of life are conservative’. Very very true. I would just add to that: ‘The facts of the Left are dreams’.
It’s too bad George W. Bush and his ‘compassionate conservative’ friends didn’t understand what Roxeanne understand so very well. We could have all been saved a lot of grief.
SIDENOTE: Roxeanne made this comment on 25 April. I meant to give her the award early last week and forgot. Apologies tendered, Miss deL.

Can a full pardon – and honors – for Ramos & Compean be in our future? I sure hope so. I’d be happy to see Johnny Sutton face a grand jury as well.
Nice find. I’m with de Luca. Spot-on, as you say.
She’s got a great brain for a dame.
Thank you.
I can’t get the Roxanne link to work. I think it takes me to your WP page, Dr. B.
The first link is to Roxeanne’s blog page [http://www.haemet.blogivists.com/] which, according to her, has not been reachable for about a week. Her host’s sites, [Eric Odom runs Blogivists] are all unreachable. I think Roxeanne is investigating the situation.
The comment I quote can be found at the second link in Stacy’s Comments Section.
Odom Lives.
What the hell gives then?
