March Madness Sweater Puppy Rule 5 Contest: Round 2 Winner
I have chosen the Winner of ROUND 2 of the March Madness Sweater Puppy Rule 5 Contest.
All of the entries were quite good and made your humble judge’s task quite pleasurable. As with Round 1, one entry ran with the ball and scored a three-pointer that decided the game. His was the most well-rounded of the submissions in terms of capturing all aspects of Le Art de Cheerleade. The breadth of his selections could serve as a primer if aliens ever landed and said ‘Take us to your cheerleaders’.
The Winner Is: William Teach, Admiral of The Pirate’s Cove for his submission entitled:
March Madness East Region Sweater Puppies
Here are three of the sixteen pictures he featured:
For Round 2, the Honorable Mention is awarded to Steve Burri, proprietor of Grandpa John’s, for displaying perhaps the most unique attribute of American Cheerleaders: grace in action. The gals he featured exemplify the typical American girl: always on the move, always shooting for the stars.
Here is one of the pictures that he posted:
I would like to thank all of the players for their dedication and hard work. I know that you all will give it everything you’ve got, once again, in Round 3 and continue to make Stacy McCain, the inventor of Rule 5, proud. Sadly, as with Round 1, Stacy could not join us tonight as he is busy obtaining heinous chemicals for his trip to Vegas. Let us take a moment to wish him well and to remind him not to Bogart the stuff, man.
NOTE TO THOSE OF YOU WHO WILL BE PARTICIPATING IN ROUND 3:
Please see our sponsor, Carol Sheeple, for submission instructions.
And remember…
