He (or his interpreter) pronounced the word ‘bury’ as ‘Burri.’ I grew up after that thinking that I was part of a commie plot.
If he would have pronounced it like most people… ‘Barry’… he would have been prophetic. ‘We will barry you.’
‘We will Barry you!’….now it really makes sense.
You really need to hire better translators, Comrade. Stefan Ivanovich got it right. I was still in power in 1961 and I assigned SMERSH officers to watch over young Barry and guide him.
