Though he hasn’t done one for a while, Stacy McCain Fisks David Chauncey Gardiner Brooks with a verve like he’s just mounted his childhood bicycle. It’s a short romp, but, within the brevity, he packs the power and wit of one of his typically lengthy ones. A highlight:
